Three guests present different perspectives: Dr Joan St John is an NHS diabetes specialist working in primary care who is also a clinical advisor to Diabetes Africa; Francine Daley was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2008 and was recently shocked to discover that her HBA1C was in excess of 120; Jan King’s family is of Caribbean origin with several relatives living with diabetes and her own mother has had Type 2 for over 20 years.
