Do you struggle to set boundaries with others? Do you have a hard time saying no to people? Do you sometimes feel like people are taking advantage of your good nature and asking too much of you? This episode is perfect for those of us who are people pleasers.  Learn how setting boundaries is actually a more loving approach to our personal relationships. In this episode we talk to Mary, who is a clinical mental health counselor. Mary has a master's in clinical mental health counseling with a bachelor's in philosophy from BYU. She's been trained in several therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, dialectical behavioral therapy and internal family systems therapy, and sand tray.  We want to thank Mary who is so sweet and kind and knowledgeable.  It was a privilege to have her on the podcast.  We definitely needed this episode and learned so much from her that is so helpful and that we can apply in our lives and relationships! • What's Eating You?
In this episode we talk to McKenna who shares about her life changing weight loss journey in which she lost 85 pounds. She shares how this journey and all she has learned through it has blessed her life. McKenna takes a more individualistic and spiritual approach to weight loss. As we take our struggles with weight and health to the Lord, he will help us to find the solutions. Sometimes we need to get to the root cause of why we're not able to lose weight or why we're gaining weight, or what else may be going on and address that first. What works for some people may not be the answer for others.  In this more personal way we can discover what will ultimately help us on our journey to become healthier and stronger.  We want to thank McKenna for coming on and talking to us and sharing her health journey with us in such a raw and real way.  We had so much fun and loved talking to her! You definitely don't want to miss this episode which really can be applied to most of us as we all seek to be healthier! McKenna does a 12 week course to help people on their weight loss journey and mentors people to help them find their own solutions. You can find McKenna on Instagram at @mckennaeatsplantsResources: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day SaintsAddiction Program Recovery Guide"He Did Deliver Me From Bondage" by Colleen C.
