A new dating trend is taking over TikTok and before you roll your eyes, dating experts say it’s actually a cry for help. This idea that women will only accept the physically perfect man: six feet, six figures, six pack and six inches, is pure fantasy. And it’s not fantasy versus reality, it’s fantasy versus intimacy and that equals loneliness. It may even be considered a form of self sabotage that feels safe because there’s no one who could meet those requirements. However, dating experts say there are real questions we should all be asking of potential partners, and it has nothing to do with the four sixes.

We’re recording this episode as we get ready to celebrate the annual Pride March here in New York City, a huge parade steeped in history, going back to the 1969 police raid on the Stonewall on this very date, June 28th. But did you know that Pride Month isn’t recognized nationally this year, nor any year where a Republican is president, going back to 1999 when Pride month was first established by President Clinton. In fact, several states have even chosen counter programming for the month, labeling June as Nuclear Family Month, Strong Families Month, or even Fidelity Month.

This week, former NFL player Brandon Marshall posted a video of him teaching his son a lesson for not listening. In the video you see 11-year-old Zi running at 2 am as Marshall drives along, telling him that discipline correction is good. The video sparked strong debate with many saying the public shaming is embarrassing and harmful to his son, while others applaud Marshall for teaching his son discipline.
