Grammy winning singer and Oscar nominated actress Ariana Grande should be enjoying her multiple recent successes: from the “Wicked” movies to her world tour, to her newly released studio album and what was going to be a starring role on the West End in London. Instead, the 33-year-old released a statement that she will no longer be gracing that London stage and instead will be taking a step back from the public eye after some celebrities and fans have shared concerns about her thin weight. Grande has explained and defended her health for years now, pointing out that the comfortability people have in commenting on her looks is what is dangerous, not her weight.

News this week that two of Hollywood’s most famous actors both have children who dropped their last names: Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. Suri Cruise has changed her name to her mother’s middle name, now going by Suri Noelle. Brad Pitt’s youngest daughter Vivenne has joined older sister and two other siblings in legally dropping Pitt from her name as well.
