What if the diagnosis doesn't tell the whole story?
The Lindsay Clancy case raises difficult questions about mental health, postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis, bipolar disorder, hallucinations, medication, and the human mind.
So what are we supposed to make of this?
We've become very comfortable explaining depression, bipolar disorder, postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis and other mental health conditions through a purely medical lens, but as Christians, should we be willing to ask whether there can sometimes be a spiritual dimension to what is happening in a person's mind?

• Postpartum depression vs. postpartum psychosis
• How modern mental health diagnoses define depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis and other conditions

It is about understanding the reality of the spiritual realm, recognizing the enemy’s schemes, standing firm in the authority of Christ, and learning how to fight biblically.
