  • Episode 032: HB 505
Welcome to Episode 032 of the Bowhunting Montana Podcast!  Can this legislative session be over? It seems that the legislators are saving the big hits for the second half of the session. HB 505 was recently introduced by house leader Wylie Galt. In short this bill gives away our prized elk herd to large landowners that can then turn around and sell those elk to anyone willing to cough up $10k. HB 505 doesn’t solve the “problem” it claims to address and is a smoke screen for greed and cutting the general public out of our wildlife heritage. HB 505 goes directly against the tenants of the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation and will set a precedent that cannot be undone.   #Bowhunting - #Conservation - #Conversation
