The Cycling Podcast returns in perhaps the most eagerly anticipated week of the season, to look back in more detail at Sunday’s Tour of Flanders and ahead to Paris-Roubaix at the weekend. 
Daniel Friebe and Lionel Birnie are joined by former team manager and press chief Brian Nygaard as we reflect on the story that dominated the build-up to Flanders: Remco Evenepoel’s shock announcement that he would start for Redbull-BORA-hansgrohe after months of denials. Are the media entitled to feel upset at being misled, or is all ultimately fair in love and the war for eyeballs? 
We hear what Hugo Coorevits thinks, and also what’s on his mind ahead of the “Hell of the North”. Do only the redoubtable pavés of northern France stand between Tadej Pogačar and his next piece of history – or will Van der Poel, Van Aert et al. halt his march towards a Monument Grand Slam?

The race also offers up a number of other conundrums. Can Dwars door Vlaanderen winner Marlen Reusser double up and take a second Flandrian win this week? Will Demi Vollering finally add a Flanders title to her palmares? Might Lorena Wiebes survive the climbs and go for the win?
