The Staff Room is a podcast and a radio show run by two teachers to discuss school environment and community topics. On this episode the teachers are engaging on the impact of Covid-19 to the school kids in the townships and how it is impacting the teachers and the children psychologically.
This a school radio station podcast, situated at Stephen Mazungula Primary School in Port Elizabeth South Africa. It is run by the students with the facilitation by Abantu Development Agency,as means to supplement and compliment their curriculum especially for their language, Life Orientation and arts & culture classes. This school radio assists the school to introduce a fun, innovative and interactive way of learning and meeting the national curriculum in a creative way.

It is run by the students with the facilitation by Abantu Development Agency,as means to supplement and compliment their curriculum especially for their language, Life Orientation and arts & culture classes. This will assist the school to introduce a fun, innovative and interactive way of learning and meeting the national curriculum in a creative way.
The school radio gives the pupils a voice and empowerment, because we foresee using this platform for students to discuss issues that matter to them in a non-confrontational format.
