Ms. Adventure‘s Treehouse: Christian Stories for Kids

In our third visit with Lily and Daddy on their jungle adventure, Lily, Daddy and their dog Pickles race home from exploring the jungle as a storm approaches. Even in the safety of the cabin, Lily struggles with fear.  She can’t quite seem to have power over the ‘I’m scareds’, as a child of God, a royal princess, should, or so she thinks.  As she cowers under the table, Daddy pulls his girl close and shares a story about his own fear.  Together with Lily, we’ll learn how God wants us to be close to Him when we’re afraid, not be ashamed that we can’t fight offthe ‘I’m scared’ feelings on our own.

In part 2 of Lily’s Jungle Quest, we’ll join Lily, her Daddy and their beloved beagle for another jungle adventure. 
After spilling jelly on her play dress, Lily’s Daddy gives her a new, fancy dress – a dress, she learns, that messy messes can’t stick to.  As she and Daddy explore the jungle more deeply, Lily learns that she is a princess, an heir to God’s kingdom, including the jungle, all the animals, and even victory over the ‘I’m scareds’.  And Lily learns that Jesus trades her messy sin messes that used to clothe her, for His perfect right-ness.

A jungle is a HUGE, overwhelming place, Lily discovers, when her Daddy takes her on a special adventure with their dog Pickles.  Lily feels small and afraid of the new place, until she learns that God makes and cherishes lots of small things – snails, lady bugs, seedpods…and even shy five-year-old girls.
Join us in this first episode of ‘Lily’s Jungle Quest’ series as we see God’s character and love of detail displayed in the tiny creations He made.  We’ll learn how we don’t have to be afraid, even when we feel small, because God is big and He is holding on to us.

A band of brave, and very furry, pirate hamsters, set sail with one mission: find enough nuts to fill their rumbling tummies. Their quest takes a wild turn when they stumble upon a gigantic macadamia nut on an uninhabited island. Even stranger, no matter how much they nibble, crunch, or chomp each day, the nut mysteriously returns to its full size every single morning. Life is wonderful for the crew—until their colossal treasure suddenly disappears. Determined to reclaim their beloved macadamia, the three pirate hamsters launch a colossal search, leaving no hamster wheel unturned.
Set sail with us to see just how far these three tiny pirates will go to recover their lost treasure. Along the way, we’ll discover how God and His angels rejoice when even one sinner turns back to Him.
