Ep 1029. Toy Box Shuffle: a children’s story and guided relaxation

    2026/03/23 | 17 mins.
Uli Unicorn and Alyssa Doll notice that the toy box is very crowded! How can they help?

    Narrator: Male

    Story Begins: 4:52

    Toy Box Shuffle Excerpt:

As Uli looked around the room, still thinking about what the day might bring, his eyes fell upon the toy box near the wall. The lid was closed, but it wasn’t sitting quite flat. It looked very full, like all the toys inside were bunched close together. Uli’s smile turned into a thoughtful expression.

Uli knew that sometimes, when things were packed too tightly, it could feel nicer if there were a little more space. He felt curious how everyone inside the toy box might be feeling.

Today’s Meditation: Relax your whole body from head to toe in this meditation.

Ep 547. Cozy Cove: a relaxing short story and meditation

    2026/03/20 | 18 mins.
When Connor Cleaner Fish gets a visit from some traveling fish, he realizes that it’s good to take a break sometimes.

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Cozy Cove,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

    Narrator: Male

    Story Begins: 3:26

    Cozy Cove Excerpt:

Connor was a little different from the other fish that lived around him. He didn’t like to play as much as they did. When he wasn’t working on cleaning the other fish who came to him when they needed their scales or shells or fins cleaned, Connor spent much of his time near his coral cave and the nearby rocks making sure that his home stayed just as clean as his fish friends.

Connor didn’t like a messy home, or anything messy, really. It was hard for him to sleep knowing that there was mess anywhere! So, Connor spent most of his free time cleaning the front, back and even the top of the comfy little coral and the surrounding rocks of his home.

Today’s Meditation: Relax as you imagine you are a baby penguin snuggled close to its papa.

Ep 1028. Slippery Spider: a meditation and story for your bedtime routine

    2026/03/18 | 14 mins.
Sebastian Spider is frustrated when rain ruins his usual jumping spot. What will he do?

    Narrator: Female

    Story Begins: 3:13

    Slippery Spider Excerpt:

Today, Sebastian set out on his usual morning route. His first stop was always the big green leaf. It was broad and strong and grew from a low plant near the fence. Sebastian had jumped from this leaf hundreds of times. It was his very favorite place to start his jumping practice.

Sebastian climbed up the stem of the plant and made his way onto the leaf. As soon as Sebastian set his front feet down on it, he felt them slip around. “That doesn’t usually happen,” thought Sebastian. “But it makes sense for things to be a little slippery after a rainfall,” he reasoned, so he didn’t let it bother him.

Today’s Meditation: Relax as you imagine sunlight warming you as you lie in a grassy meadow.

Ep 1026. Plenty to Share: a calming bedtime and nap time story

    2026/03/16 | 19 mins.
Allie meets Anora at the garden. There are just too many ripe vegetables for the sharing stand. They need a better plan…

    Narrator: Male

    Story Begins: 3:42

    Plenty to Share Excerpt:

With the wagon ready, Allie, Anora, Mr. O’Leary, Mrs. Lewis, and Daisy set off down the neighborhood streets. The girls took turns pulling the wagon’s handle, feeling proud to share the garden’s goodness.

At the first house, Allie rang the doorbell and Anora waved. When a neighbor opened the door, the girls said, “We brought you some vegetables from the community garden!” The neighbor smiled, thanked them, and chose a few bell peppers.

Today’s Meditation: Imagine that you are a graceful willow tree in today’s meditation.

Ep 545. Sharing at the Sanctuary: a meditation and bedtime story for children

    2026/03/13 | 18 mins.
Kian Koala learns that it’s more fun to share and play with others when new toys arrive at the Ahway Island Animal Sanctuary.

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Sharing at the Sanctuary,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

    Narrator: Female

    Story Begins: 3:26

    Sharing at the Sanctuary Excerpt:

Kian Koala yawned as he lay on a branch of the tree opposite of Kiera. He felt sleepy today and even the promise of new toys couldn’t get him to leave his cozy branch – not at first, anyway!

But he looked over to where Kiera was pointing and gazed down into the big open box. He saw a big duck-shaped floatie first. Henrietta Hippo would probably enjoy that, Kian thought. He could also see scratching posts, squeaky toys, and frisbees of all colors. There was even a huge beach ball.

Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating on a cloud, and relax into the feeling of lightness.
