In the quiet lakeshore community of Grand Haven Township, Michigan, the unthinkable unfolded behind the walls of what appeared to be an ordinary, happy family home. When firefighters responded to reports of smoke in July 2026, they discovered a scene that would leave an entire community searching for answers: eight members of the same family were dead. Investigators later determined that a husband and father had fatally shot his wife and their six children before setting the home on fire and ending his own life.

On January 24, 2023, Patrick Clancy left his family's home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, to run a few errands, expecting to return less than an hour later. Instead, he came home to an unimaginable tragedy. The house was eerily silent, and outside he found his wife, Lindsay Clancy, seriously injured. She told him the children were in the basement.

Patrick rushed downstairs, where he discovered his three children, 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan, had been strangled with exercise bands. Cora and Dawson died that night, while Callan succumbed to his injuries several days later.

Lindsay survived after jumping from a second-story window and was later charged with the murders of her children. Her defense argues that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and should not be held criminally responsible. Her trial is now underway, with her husband expected to testify on her behalf.

On a quiet 2025 March morning in Saratoga Springs, Utah, a teenage girl walked into a horrific scene.  Her mother, Jessica Lyman (44)  and her brother Eli Painter (8) had been shot and were found in Jessica’s bedroom.
As investigators peeled back the layers of the case, unsettling clues emerged—surveillance footage of a masked figure, cryptic handwritten notes, and a trail of unanswered questions that have kept the double murder shrouded in mystery. More than a year later, with no arrests and new evidence still surfacing, the Saratoga Springs double murder remains one of Utah’s most haunting and perplexing unsolved cases.
