Rooted in Hebrews 4:16, Apostle Kenneth encouraged believers to approach God with confidence and boldness, not with fear, unworthiness, or a posture of begging, but as children coming to a loving Father.

In His presence we receive mercy, grace, and the strength to walk through every season.

At FaithPoint Church Johannesburg, Pastor Jay Makopo kicked off The Road to His Passion series with a powerful message titled “Idolatry Is Scamming You.” Drawing from Exodus 20:3, “You shall have no other gods before Me,” the message revealed how easily we drift when life doesn’t go our way. Instead of surrendering to God, we begin placing other things above Him our desires, comfort, control, or systems we trust more than God. Idolatry promises satisfaction but ultimately leaves us empty and disconnected from the life God intends. Pastor Jay reminded us that true devotion requires hearts that remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit, able to discern what God is doing in the moment rather than clinging to what feels familiar or comfortable. Idols promise much but deliver nothing. Don’t fall for the scam. Put God first and surrender fully to Him. “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 NIV
