Cthulhu in the Deep South

Hey Hey! Kirk and Alex are back with Kirk's latest research project. America's history with drinking and driving is just as absurd as you probably think it is. Kirk walks us through a hundred and fifty years of cocaine and booze fueled nonsense, the power of advocacy and what happens when a goal is accomplished, and our unwillingness to link drinking and driving to cars.

Author Kirk Battle recently took a trip to Sewanee, TN to talk to the Monteagle Chataqua about writing historical fiction. He also delivered a reading from our other Audiobook/Podcast "These Hallowed Halls".
If you enjoy the reading, check out the rest of that book at the links below or wherever you listen, read by R. Alex Murray.

Ok. Full disclosure. This has almost nothing to do with Lovecraftian horror. It's a short history of toilet flushing. Kirk and Alex, having finished the six book CitDS series, are casting about for their next endeavor. This is a foray into the "Edutainment" style of podcast, and, frankly, this feed is where it makes the most sense and will get the most listens.
If you dig it, please let us know! It's a rough draft of whatever this concept could become, but we had a good time reading and talking about the removal of human shit from our homes.

Thanks for listening.
