Behind The Artist

Peter Davis is a prize-winning Manchester based artist. Most recently, he has been selected for the Herbert Smith Freehills Award. His work is predominately based around our use of technology in the urban environment and issues in society. Peter is part of the Contemporary British Portrait Painters, Manchester Academy of Fine Art and Castlefield Gallery Associates.

Joining me on today's podcast is the fantastic emerging artist, Tom Mead. Tom has won the London Graphics Centre Prize and has been shortlisted for some of the most prestigious awards including the Ruth Borchard Prize. He was also a finalist on Sky portrait Artist of the Year. His work is personal and is often inspired by his upbringing, as well as his own personal struggles.

I am thrilled to announce Oliver Winconek as my guest on this podcast. Oliver is a portrait and figurative artist, with an incredible eye for detail, His work hangs in some of the most prestigious homes in the UK.

I am delighted to be accompanied on this podcast with the fantastic artist, Jackson Wrede. Known for his exceptional realist portraits, he incorporates old masters techniques, whilst producing narratives fitting to the 21st century.

Very excited to introduce you to my first guest, Tania Rivilis. Known for her vibrant, yet sensitive portraits, Tania has exhibited at various prestigious platforms including Arcadia Contemporary in New York & Bonnard Galerie in the Netherlands. Most recently illuminating the screens of Times Square in New York, Tania has embraced the digital world and is hugely successful with NFT's painting various Hollywood actors such as Val Kilmer.
