    The Hardley Golden Goods Interview

    2026/05/08 | 1h 48 mins.
On this episode of The Bigspin Podcast, I sit down with Mikey Huff, the owner of Hardly Golden Goods Headquarters, Austin Texas’ newest fingerboard storefront and community space. Mikey is a lifelong entrepreneur, skateboarder, and fingerboarder who’s spent years building businesses, running e-commerce stores, and creating from the ground up. After noticing a gap in the local fingerboard scene, he started throwing massive community events that eventually led to opening the Hardly Golden storefront.

We recorded this episode after Fingerboard Con 2026 at nearly 1AM, and it turned into one of the funniest, most real, and in-depth conversations I’ve had in a long time. We talk about everything from the struggles of hosting events, growing a brand, building a community, and what it takes to run a successful fingerboard shop in today’s scene.

If you’re anywhere near Austin, support local fingerboarding and check out what Mikey is building for the Texas scene. Huge respect to everyone out there continuing to push the community forward!

    The Mike Schneider Interview

    2026/05/01 | 2h 48 mins.
On this episode of The Bigspin Podcast, I sit down with fingerboarding legend Mike Schneider at his home in Andover, Massachusetts.. the same spot where the very first Rendezvous took place! If you know, you know! Over the course of nearly four hours, we talked about Mike’s legacy in fingerboarding, founding one of the most influential and longest running brands in the scene, FlatFace, and his newer ventures with Blistered Fingerboard Wheels and Duck Decks.

We also dive into the current state of the fingerboard community, plans for the future, how the scene has evolved over the years, and everything in between. Throughout the day we took breaks for lunch, sessions, and just hanging out, making this one of the most genuine and in-depth conversations I’ve had on the podcast!

Huge thank you to Mike for welcoming me into his home, for everything he’s done for fingerboarding, and for continuing to inspire the next generation of fingerboarders around the world!

This episode premieres May 1 on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.

    The Ůreth Interview

    2026/04/03 | 1h 25 mins.
On this episode of the Fingerboard Podcast, we sit down with Kyle from URETH, a Phoenix, Arizona based brand specializing in recycled fingerboard wheels made from real skateboard wheels. Kyle breaks down his journey into fingerboarding, how he got started experimenting with recycled materials, and the process that eventually became URETH.

We dive deep into the Arizona fingerboard scene and the energy that comes from being surrounded by so many heavy-hitting brands in the area. Kyle talks about how that environment pushes him to constantly level up and refine what he’s doing with URETH.

The conversation also explores the history of recycled wheels in fingerboarding, including the people who came before him that reached out, offered guidance, and helped move the craft forward. Kyle shares why doing your own research is critical.. not just when learning how to recycle skateboard wheels into fingerboard wheels, but when building any brand from the ground up.

We also get into the realities of scaling a company inside an already niche community, especially when every set of wheels is made in small batches and can take up to three hours to complete. It’s a detailed look at craftsmanship, patience, and pushing innovation within the fingerboard world.

In this episode of The Bigspin Fingerboard Podcast, we welcome back Mannyg FB, owner of Dungeon Crawl Fingerboards, for a long-awaited part two episode!

This time around, we catch up on everything that’s happened over the past year, from the growth of the brand to the wins, challenges, and everything in between.
We get into what it’s really like trying to balance being a fingerboarder while also running a brand and creating content. Manny opens up about the pressure of being seen as an “influencer,” the stigma that can come with that, and how he’s been navigating his place in the community.
We also talk mental health, staying grounded through the highs and lows, and how success can shift your perspective in ways you don’t always expect.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper catch-up without diving into some current fingerboard hot topics including Westcoast Fingerboarding, Politics in fingerboarding and Skate rip graphics!
