We dig into how he decides whether to start shallow or deep, and how he decides between throwing a moving bait to cover water or slowing down with a finesse presentation on the bottom.

Bob walks through the real factors that go into these calls: water temperature, seasonal patterns, water clarity, forage location, fishing pressure, and current conditions. We also get into what happens when those two decisions conflict, like when everything points shallow but everything also points slow, and how he adjusts on the fly once his starting game plan doesn't produce.
