On this episode, I did a solo recap of running news from the past week while also talking a bit about my own training! I gave an update on my heel injury and talked about how I plan to pace the Boston Marathon now.

Some of the big news of the last week was Conner Mantz dropping out of the Boston Marathon! His post said he wasn't ready to go - is he injured again? What does this mean for the American field now?

I also touched on some NCAA news including Jane Hedengren setting the NCAA 10k record in impressive fashion with a big negative split. Enjoy!

On this episode, we had special guest Thomas Nobbs on the podcast! Thomas just came off a huge PR at McKirdy Marathon last weekend, where he ran 2:09 to become the 4th fastest Canadian all-time! Even more impressive- he ran the last 35k completely solo.

Thomas actually ran at University of Washington for a bit before finishing up at University of British Columbia. He now resides in Ottawa - meaning he had to train for this race almost entirely on the treadmill! We talked about his training and nutrition on this pod and also walked through his pre-race routines.

Of course, we got the full recap of race weekend and also what might be next for Thomas. We hope to see him with a shoe contract and in a major marathon this fall!

On this episode, the boys had on the legend Jess Donohue after her epic 2:34 marathon at McKirdy last weekend!

We first had Jess on after she won the McKirdy Breaking 3 race last year in her debut marathon. 1 year later, she returned in the McKirdy OTQ race and earned her place in the U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon for 2028! We got the full race recap on this episode. This was an emotional and inspiring episode, we hope Jess's story inspires you to chase after your dreams too!
