Judging Judy #27 - Snuggle, Snuggle Toil & Trouble (comedy podcast)

    2026/03/09 | 34 mins.
It’s 2005 all over again — and this time, it’s personal! We’ve got a case of a bar room brawl between a big doofus and a trained martial artist; plus, we’ve got a mysterious case of one man getting his limo driver to pay for two hotel rooms! Will Judy side with the moron who overstepped and got his teeth messed up? Will she find that this limo driver got taken for a ride?

And, more importantly, will we find Judy innocent or guilty? Because this is Judging Judy, the snarky podcast that turns the tables on America’s favorite, least favorite TV judge.

In our first case, Patrick says that Ed assaulted him in a bar, totally unprovoked. Ed doesn’t deny he threw the punch; in fact, he’s quite proud of it. But he alleges that Patrick actually started the whole kerfuffle. Judy has her suspicions it was all over a young lass who appeared to be playing both sides, but will that factor into her decision?

For case #2, James says that he drove Tim around for days, and then when Tim needed a hotel room but didn’t have his wallet, he paid for it instead. Not only that, but James also gave Tim spending money. But when the bill came due, all Tim had was excuses. Tim claims none of the above happened, despite much evidence to the contrary, and has only the paltriest of explanations for his actions. It’s up to Judy to decide just how much he owes James for all of his shenanigans.

Of course, after all that nonsense, it will be up to us to decide if Judy did her job, and if she’s innocent, or if she was derelict in her duties, and is guilty. Each week, we hop into Judy’s extensive archives and dive deep into the cases that came before her in her TV court. We’re interested in her rulings,
    certainly.

But we’re just as interested in the Judge herself! Was she out of control? Was she rude? Did she act fairly? Was the whole thing entertaining? We ask those questions and more to come up with our own ruling for Judy: innocent…or guilty.

For fans of Stephen Colbert, the Doughboys, Comedy Bang Bang, Blank Check and All Fantasy Everything, Judging is a one-of-a-kind look at the person behind the gavel, Judge Judy. For over 25 years she had an inescapable place in our cultural zeitgeist. But while she had free rein to judge us, never before had we had the chance to judge the judge.

Now it’s our turn. Nostalgic, zany, critical and smart all in one, Judging Judy is guaranteed to make you think and laugh…and it might surprise you!

Judging Judy #26 - An Insouciant Proposal (a comedy podcast)

    2026/03/02 | 30 mins.
It’s back to 1998 and Judy’s all about the jewels this week. With two cases about rings, she’s really got a finger on her plaintiffs’ most precious pieces. But will she side with them or with the defense? And, just as importantly, will we find Judy innocent or will we find her guilty?
Because, naturally, this is Judging Judy, the most popular Judge Judy podcast and the only one that turns the tables on America’s favorite TV judge.

With Case #1, two former lovers find themselves on the outs after he cheated on her. But now she’s on the hook for the engagement ring she had to pay for plus a set of tires he charges to her credit card. He says he never agreed to pay for her big, pricey piece of jewelry and shouldn’t have to foot the bill. Will Judy side with the scorned woman and get her her money back or will her pleas not ring true?

For Case #2, it’s a case of a long-term friendship torn asunder over theft. After the defendant spiraled deep into drug abuse, she stole from her friend of over fifteen years to pay back a debt and save her life. Though she’s repentant, she thinks her friend is asking for too much money to pay her back for the stolen goods. Will Judy side with the big spender who finds herself one ring short? Or will she find sympathy for the recovering addict who just wants to do right by the world?

All of that is very important, but the only thing that really matters is our ruling. Each week, we examine a case from Judy’s extensive archives. We review the case and Judy’s rulings, certainly; but we’re just as interested in the Judge herself.

Did she conduct herself with dignity? Did she entertain? Did she rule fairly?
If the answer those questions is yes, then Judy is innocent. But, if not, she’s guilty.

Perfect for fans of comedy podcasts like the Doughboys, Cinephobe, How Did This Get Made, and Comedy Bang Bang, Judging Judy offers a hilarious analysis of one of America’s most popular cultural icons of the last quarter century. Across TV, books, podcasts and other media, Judge Judy ruled over the airwaves. But while the world appreciated her caustic wit and her one liners, none of us had the chance to give the Judge our own ruling.

Well, that all changes with this one-of-a-kind podcast.

Judging Judy #25 - Computer? He Barely Even Knew Her!

    2026/02/23 | 30 mins.
Dial up was all the rage.  Chat rooms were the next big thing.

Love was in the air..that’s right, it’s back to 1997 and all that it has to offer this week. Specifically, that means we’ve got one case about an internet romance gone wrong and another about a mom who says her adult kid scammed her out of money. Who will Judy side with? Will she yell? Will she scream? Will she roll her eyes?

There’s only one way to find out!

This is Judging Judy, the podcast that finally turns the tables on America’s favorite least favorite TV judge. It’s about time Judy gets a taste of her own medicine!

In Case #1, our married plaintiff claims that he only wanted to be friends with the married defendant, despite spending hours and hours romancing with her online. Plus, he invited her to come to California. But, he swears, he only wanted to be friends! Now, he wants her to pay for the hotel room he booked for her in the Golden State. Will Judy see through this strange smoke screen or will she be down with some modern love?

Our second case has a lady who claims her daughter is a scam artist whoa after lying about contracting cancer, scammed her out of $2,000. Thankfully, the daughter didn’t die of her pretend illness, but she did make off with quite a bit of her mom’s money, if our plaintiff is to believed! But will Judy think she’s the one being scammed?

Judging Judy is an experience. It’s a revelation. It’s the funniest podcast since the Doughboys or Neighborhood Listen! Each week, we tackle a case from the Judge Judy archives, but not because we’re fans of the show: we’re here to decide if this cultural icon truly delivered justice. Funny, insightful, and biting, Judging Judy offers a critical look at society and pop culture with a sarcastic, unrelenting angle.

Judging Judy #24 - Wig or Without You (comedy podcast)

    2026/02/16 | 27 mins.
Coming to us from the high-flying days of early 2017, we’ve got two classic cases from Judge Judy. First, a custom wig order gone wrong. Second, a grandmother trades $3,000 for the right to see her grandkids; now she wants her money back. Will Judy side with the lady who never got the wig she was promised? Will she rule in favor of the plaintiff who says her ex-son-in-law never paid her back as he promised?

And, just as importantly, will we find that Judy is innocent…or is she guilty? Because this is Judging Judy, the only podcast that turns the tables on America’s favorite, least favorite judge.

In Case 1, Abidemi says the salon never got her wig order right. Not only did they skip measuring her head, but they got the part all wrong. Even after they tried to fix it, she wasn’t happy. But when her credit card company sided with the salon, the only place she could turn was daytime TV. Judy has to decide whether or not the contract Abidemi signed is valid or if the customer really is always right.

Case 2 pits a former mother-in-law against the father of her grandchildren. When he was injured, he took $3,000 from her; in exchange, he let her see the grandkids, even though his ex-wife tried to keep them away from her. Although she was happy to help him pay his bills, she says it was meant as a loan. After all, she doesn’t have a job either — all she does is gamble with her fiancee’s money. Our judge will have to decide if this dad is derelict in his duties to the lady formerly known as his mother-in-law.

In the end, the real decision is ours. We have to consider Judy’s decisions, sure, but also her conduct, her words, her behavior and her entertainment factor. Only then will we be able to determine if Judy is innocent or guilty.

Are you a fan of the Doughboys and Cinephobe? What about All Fantasy Everything? Well, how about Comedy Bang Bang? I only ask these questions because Judging Judy is perfect for fans of any and all of these podcasts! Unafraid to critically examine pop-culture icon Judge Judy, this comedy podcast is like no other. A mix of recap show, nostalgia trip and social examination, Judging Judy reexamines the people and the cases that dominated our TVs through a whole new lens. Offering a fresh, funny, light-hearted but also clever perspective and a voice like no other, make Judging Judy the next podcast in your rotation.

Judging Judy #23 - Rift of the Mad Guy (comedy podcast)

    2026/02/09 | 33 mins.
It’s back to 1997 this week in a classic case of mad mom versus bad dad. She says he’s abusive, an untrustworthy drug addict and late on paying his fare share of their bills. He says he should get cash because she won’t let him see their kid. All the while, their kid is caught in the middle. Will Judy side with mommy or daddy in this family feud?

And, even more importantly, will we find Judy innocent or guilty of delivering justice? Because, of course, this is the only podcast that turns the tables on America’s favorite least favorite TV judge.

After years of marriage, Vicky’s sick of Louis and his deadbeat dad, drug-abusing ways. The divorce is already in the works, but she says he owes her big. Louis admits to having had a bad history with drugs, but says he’s clean now and doesn’t owe her a thing. In fact, he says he’s the one who deserves a payday since she’s cutting into his visitation rights.

Will Judy agree that he’s a bruiser and a loser?
Will Judy think a bad marriage is a good enough reason for Vicky to get paid?
Or will the Judy side with Louis and give him a big, fat $4,300 pay check?
