In this episode of Welcome to Platteville Season 8, Episode 3, I discuss a somewhat lackluster episode that I found less thrilling than the first two. I recap the men's bar outing where Barry, Micah, and Ethan fumble through awkward pickup line conversations with Zac and openly gay restaurant manager Taylor as unlikely wingmen for Barry's re-entry into dating. I cover the Isaac and Kaylynn breakup in detail — how he ghosted his feelings, dropped the bomb, then almost immediately regretted it — and note that Veronica fired back on social media after being mentioned. I also break down the painfully one-sided reconciliation between Lydia and Kim, where Kim once again made everything about herself, barely apologized, and somehow had Lydia doing all the emotional heavy lifting — topped off with the most horrific DIY haircut I've ever witnessed. I close out noting that next week looks more promising, with Ken prying into Barry's dating life, Isaac trying to win Kailyn back, and a possible Tegan update for Ethan.
