This week's Welcome to Plathville Season 8, Episode 11 recap had me on a total emotional rollercoaster — I started the episode bawling right along with Kim during her therapy session with Dr. Ty, genuinely feeling her pain over Joshua's death and hoping this was finally a turning point for the family, but by the end I was yelling at my TV because manipulative Kim completely squandered that breakthrough by using the family meeting as a setup to blindside Lydia and Zac instead of showing up with the vulnerability she'd just displayed in therapy. Ethan was insufferable as always, piling on Zac and Lydia for going on podcasts while doing the exact thing he criticizes them for, Barry was his usual spineless self, Teegan had all the energy of a houseplant, and Micah was — shocker — nowhere to be found, leading me to believe he's quietly quit the show entirely. The one bright spot was Zac, who I am fully Team on at this point, standing up for Lydia with zero hesitation
