Our girl has managed to fuse her business savvy, with her commitment to health & wellness and begin an exciting passion project that is sure to change people's bodies, minds and their lives. We discuss what motivated Nina to begin coaching friends, family, colleagues - and now clients, on fitness and nutrition. We also discuss how small lifestyle changes can have a huge impact on your overall wellness and quality of life. Tonight's beverage is a refreshing, low-calorie Ranch Water cocktail.
Ingredients:
1.5 ounces silver tequila
1 ounce fresh lime juice, plus lime wedges for garnish
Teeny Tiny pinch of fine salt
Sparkling Water, preferably Topo Chico, or Mineraugua
Instructions:
Fill a tall glass to the brim with ice. Pour in the tequila and lime juice. Add a tiny sprinkle of salt to bring out the flavors.
Fill the rest of the glass with sparkling water. Gently stir to mix. Add a lime wedge and enjoy!

E53 Hindsight Wisdom: What We Wish We Knew Before
Season 5 comes to a reflective close as the ladies ponder what advice they'd give their younger selves. The open with letters that they wrote to their 17 year old selves. Keep your tissues nearby. Nina and Kristin discover that while they may have changed some things and made different decisions in the past, everything that occurred in their lives shaped them into the women they are today. No regrets, only lessons! Tonight's drink is a Bourbon Margarita!
Ingredients:
2 oz of bourbon
1 oz of fresh lime juice
1⁄2 oz of orange liqueur
1⁄2 oz of simple syrup
Lime wheel for garnish
Salt for glass (optional)
Instructions:
If you like salt, salt the rim of the glass by
rubbing a lime wedge around the glass and
dipping into salt
Put ice in your cocktail shaker
Add bourbon, lime juice, orange liqueur, and
simple syrup to shaker
Shake well until everything is super cold
Pour into glass and enjoy!

Peach Puree
Tequila
Pineapple Juice
Lime Juice
Ginger ale
Instructions:
Add ice to blender
Add peaches, peach puree, tequila, pineapple
juice, lime juice, and ginger ale
Blend
Pour in glass and enjoy!

This week we welcome guest, Kourtney McGowan, a certified
doula, and author of the book "Help! I'm Black and I'm Pregnant: The Black
Woman's Guide to a Better Pregnancy and Birth Outcome", to discuss the
role of a doula during, and after pregnancy. We discuss the existing
disparities for Black women in maternal healthcare, which are often overlooked,
or even dismissed by many, even though the statistics do not lie. Beyond that
Kourtney shares some wisdom on things women can do to keep their bodies and
minds healthy while pregnant.
As of this airing, Kourtney was invited as a guest on The
Tamron Hall Show, to discuss medical gaslighting, as it relates to maternal
health and treatment.
Kristin and Nina bring lots of questions to the table, and
