This episode of According to B is brought to you in partnership with Bernini- the sparkling spritzer born from real wine.
We live in a world that quietly teaches women to compete - over beauty, success, relationships, and even friendships. And sometimes, without realising it, that pressure seeps into the very relationships meant to hold us.

I’m joined by best friends and Because We Said So podcast co-hosts Landzy Gama and Zama Marubelela (ZeeXOnline) for a deeply honest conversation about female friendship as refuge, grounding, and one of adulthood’s greatest love stories.
    Together, we unpack:
How comparison and competition show up in women’s friendships

What female friendship teaches us about love and becoming

    Navigating friendship breakups without villains

Why our friends often become the true witnesses to our lives

When Did Friendships become so Hard & Expensive?! | According to B

    ✰ ABOUT ✰
This one is close to my heart. In this episode, I sit down with two of my closest friends, Maliaka and Tshegetso, for a real and honest conversation about what friendship looks like in adulthood- the beautiful, the hard, and the in-between.
We grew up watching rom-coms where the “best friend” character always had it all figured out, but real life doesn’t look like that. Between work, money, growing responsibilities, and trying to show up for ourselves, friendship can start to feel… complicated.
So, we decided to talk about it–the distance that sometimes creeps in, the moments we’ve drifted, and the ways we’re learning to hold space for each other now that life isn’t as simple as it used to be.
    We also dive into:
Why friendship feels harder as we get older.

The difference between drifting apart and simply growing up.

How money can shift the dynamic between friends.

What showing up looks like in this season of our lives.

Why sisterhood still matters-maybe now more than ever.
