MMA On Point - Podcast

The BMF title was originally an awesome idea, organically created by Nate Diaz calling out Jorge Masvidal. It was supposed to be a 1-of-1 specialty attraction based on the style of both guys, but then the UFC just had to go on and corporatize it and yea... run it into the ground. Max Holloway made it worth it with some of his performances, but a few of them now have spectacularly failed and none worse than this last one. Oliveira was being told to fight in a style different from what he does, and this is just dumb.

MMA isn't exactly what you would consider a very forgiving sport, but sometimes, the stars just seem to align and with only a single things not only reverse, but perhaps could go better if you had full control of things. These are the most perfectly timed MMA/UFC wins ever.

The UFC has created a lot of enemies over the years, but none perhaps closer to their brand publicly than their own commentators. These are the times the commentators got into it with either Dana themselves, the UFC policies and on many occassions meant they were let go from their position.

The heavyweight division in the UFC and around the world is a total disaster. The whole debacle begs the question, is it time to go back to the era before testing to save MMA heavyweights or is the solution something else?

Commissions in MMA/UFC are the absolute worst. Why aren't these fights overturned already? Bad ref calls, actually cheating with PEDs or flopping. These fights should be overturned immediately, but we know they won't.
