Camp Half-Pod: A Percy Jackson Podcast

It's time to invade a cruise ship, everyone. This week, we're discussing Disney+'s Percy Jackson and the Olympians Episode 7 of Season 2, "I Go Down With The Ship." Let it be known we're not entirely sure what ship is being referred to here. This episode deviates from the book the most, and we go deep into our thoughts on each change. Some? We like. Some? We're holding our breath. Manasa asks questions nobody else has about the fleece and skincare. We both crash out about Luke and continue convincing ourselves that we hate him. Clarisse gets the Annabeth. Percy gets the fleece. Two sides, and whatnot.

The gang is all here on Polyphemus's island (and it's not a tropical, relaxing island vacation). This week, we're discussing Disney+'s Percy Jackson and the Olympians Episode 6 of Season 2, "Nobody Gets The Fleece." Percy's fatal flaw is out and about this episode, and we aren't complaining. We say the word "interesting" like 37 times and work on our pronunciation of Thalia. Percy and Annabeth's plan to save Grover and Clarisse doesn't go super well. Tyson reappears and steals all our hearts.

This episode may be our new holy grail of Percabeth moments. We too would burn it all down for Annabeth!!! We talk about all the deviations they made from the books, and why they may have done that. What does it mean to be human? What does it mean to be hero? This episode gets into so many of the themes we've been tracking. Sally Jackson is constantly haunting (positive) the narrative. We give Vanilla the guinea pig their flowers (#GiveVanillaAnEmmy). Also, Polyphemus is smart now? Didn't see that one coming.

We are in for another treat with this episode! We discuss Episode 3 of Season 2 of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Disney+ show, "We Board the Princess Andromeda." This episode is about Clarisse, and also about Luke's MLM. WHO is the head of Kronos's marketing team? Also, what is Allison Sims's backstory?
