As a disabled occupational therapist, Lindsey immerses herself in the field of OT in and outside of the clinic, through her advocacy for disability rights and occupational justice, expression of the lived experience, continuing education in intimacy, relationships, sex, pelvic health, and their intersection with physical disability. In her free time, Lindsey manages the Achilles Kids program in NYC, a nonprofit organization empowering young athletes with disabilities to set and achieve their goals through running, walking, and rolling in Central Park and in local races.

Matthew Cash, an occupational therapist and founder of Lilly Clinic, LLC, specializing in lymphedema and vascular health. Matthew shares his journey from social work to occupational therapy, emphasizing the importance of patient-centered care and creating a welcoming environment for patients. The conversation delves into the complexities of lymphedema treatment, including the role of diuretics and the significance of complete or complex decongestive therapy (CDT). Matthew also shares his vision for the future of Lilly Clinic and encourages more men to consider a career in occupational therapy.

Matthew Cash, an occupational therapist and founder of Lily Clinic LLC — Lymphedema, Vascular Health, and Wellness in Roanoke, Virginia.
Matt's path into occupational therapy began through social work, where he first developed a deep appreciation for advocacy, systems, and vulnerable populations. That foundation ultimately led him into a more medically based profession, where he saw a significant and ongoing gap in care within the lymphedema community. Recognizing that need, he pursued advanced specialty training and dedicated his career to this complex population.
Matt earned his undergraduate degree in Social Work from West Chester University in 2003, completed his Master’s in Occupational Therapy at Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania in 2013, and became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist through the Lymphology Association of North America in 2017, followed shortly by certification in wound care.
In 2025, driven by community need and a desire to deliver specialized, patient-centered care, Matt opened Lily Clinic, a practice focused on lymphedema, vascular health, and wellness.
