  • October 1998 (Sarah Ferguson on Sky One)
Bit of background atmos on this one as we come to you from the bar of the Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff. Last time we were here we talked board games and Loaded and this one proved to be no different - but there's an extra dollop of October 1998 thrown in the mix. We'll be asking what was Sarah Ferguson's TV show all about? What did she write after Budgie The Helicopter? And why did a fight break out on Nicky Campbell's TV show? Gareth and Esyllt have some of the answers. The magazine archive discssed in the show can be found here. • September 1994 (Lidl)
If you're at Aberystwyth Comedy Festival this weekend don't forget to check out Esyllt Sears' shows: First Dates Motel - Live! With Esyllt Sears and Robin Morgan8 Out Of Ten Celts With Esyllt Sears, Mary Flanigan and Eleanor MortonJust squeezing this into our run of Septembers by the skin of our teeth (you'll find out why), it's September 1994 and Lidl comes to the UK... but do YOU know the differece between Lidl and Aldi? Esyllt Sears doesn't and Gareth Gwynn isn't convinced either, but he's thought of a way to monetise the difference. We also cover smoking on trains - which you think would be part of the discussion on 1994 but absolutely isn't.How do you tell the difference between Aldi and Lidl? • September 1989 (Challenge Anneka)
The perculiar show image will be explained when Esyllt Sears goes through some of the Challenges that Anneka Rice faced in her hit BBC (not ITV!) show Challege Anneka. It wasn't all Scout Huts and community centres, y'know. We also cover the spiritual prequel to Challenge Anneka, Treasure Hunt, and there's a whole thing about sardines which isn't about September 1989 at all, but will make you relieved that in the relentless march towards "Visualized Content", no-one is bothering with capturing smells.Get in touch on [email protected] or contact us on one of the following...BlueSky: @imsonotoveritInstagram: @imsonotoveritTikTok: @imsonotoverit Theme music by Alex_Kizenkov from Pixabay.I'm So Not Over It is A Mighty Bunny Production. • September 1998 (Geri Halliwell's Car Boot Sale)
The Royle Family and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? both started in September 1998 and completely redefined their respective TV genres - but you know about those already, which is why we won't bother talking about them much. Instead, Gareth Gwynn and Esyllt Sears cover a long forgotten Cilla Black vehicle and a Channel 4 documentary about modelling they pulled at the last minute, which are probably just as influental, but for all the wrong reasons. We also cover Geri's Union Jack dress, the Past Times business model and whether Gareth could pretend to be Esyllt's dad for cash. There's also a mention of the Berlin Wall thanks to Adam - he co-presents the podcast Lightly Used with Adam and Karen, which is all about quality charity shop finds - you can listen here.Get in touch on [email protected] or contact us on one of the following...BlueSky: @imsonotoveritInstagram: @imsonotoveritTikTok: @imsonotoverit Theme music by Alex_Kizenkov from Pixabay.I'm So Not Over It is A Mighty Bunny Production. About I'm So Not Over It

I'm So Not Over It is a comedy history podcast about things you'll remember from the first time round. Each week comedy writers Gareth Gwynn and Esyllt Sears explore a different month in history – but with a brief stretching from the mid-70s to the present day. Basically, if you could see it, it would be in colour. It’s politics and pop culture for the eighties, nineties, noughties and beyond, delivered in 20 minute hits because we know what your attention span is like. So if you remember Westlife but struggle with the Westland affair and if your favourite Aitken was a Tory MP or the one who co-wrote I Should Be So Lucky, we’ve got you covered in this ridiculous historical guide to the information age (even if that information came from a poorly recalled browse of Encarta ‘95). These weekly episodes are interspersed with interviews with the people who lived through this period to understand whether it has had any bearing on the lives they lead today. The perfect listen, whether you’re Generation X, Gen X, Xennial, Millennial, Generation Z, Gen Z or whatever Pepsi wants to call you.I'm So Not Over It is brought to you by the team behind the award nominated Xennial Dome Podcast - Previous guests on that show include Nish Kumar, Jess Philips MP, Trevor & Simon, Isy Suttie and many more and those episodes can be found on the same podcast feed.I'm So Not Over It is a Mighty Bunny Production.
