When we go through a difficult period in our lives, the brain and the body store the pain and trauma. We may not know it at the time, we may be in survival mode or just disconnected from our actually feelings.... We need to be kind and gracious with ourselves during these seasons. We should not have to make excuses or explain what we need to do to get ourselves through...

Listening to what your body really needs
Episode 6 really resonated with me, I felt like this message was meant for one (or more!) of you out there....When was the last time you really and truly listened to your body and what it needs? We all lead such fast-paced lives, we seldom have time to stop and breathe let alone check in with our bodies and our minds. Week after week, month after month (or longer) we just keep going. Our bodies are constantly talking to us, giving us signals, but when we are too busy, we don't hear these. Instead of reaching for that next coffee, maybe you are tired and need rest. You don't need to work harder; you need better inspiration to feel motivated. Maybe instead of sugar your body is low on vitamins. Instead of trying to fill the hole, take a pause and be present. This way you can listen to what your body really needs. When was the last time you listened.....

Saying Goodbye to 2023...
Firstly and apology for taking 3 months to create episode 4 ... I have not in the right mind frame to do another episode and the longer I left it, the more difficult it became. But I am leaving the guilt behind and moving forward. Here is to saying goodbye to 2023 and thanking the year for all the amazing challenges it presented. May we learn from them and grow. I am looking forward to all the opportunities that 2024 has to offer and all the lessons to be learnt.Bring it on!

Support and Validation
Episode 3 (Support and Validation) is very personal to me in the season I find myself in at present. Unlearning and relearning some copy mechanisms which are not so healthy. Understanding how to ask for support and what that looks like for me. I hope this episode helpful is some way.
