  • They are not your emotion
It's about accountability. This mom was teaching her daughters how to be accountable for their own emotions.I loved the way she explained this. It's a real-life example of a person not taking accountability for their own mind because it's uncomfortable. You know you've done the same in traffic, at home, at work, and basically anywhere you've interacted with another human 🤣.Either way, the message is the same. You are responsible for your own emotions. You can explain them to another person, but they aren't your emotions. Ownership helps you process things better in the long run, which helps you move through them and past them faster.

  • Certifications needed?
What I should have said is that certification programs are a modern invention. They are a marketing tool. Awesome. Yet a cert doesn't equate to competence nor does not having one equate to incompetence.I know, talk to, and learn from people on both sides of those certifications. I've also listened to people on both sides who clearly had no idea what they were talking about. There are incredibly knowledgeable people with and without those pieces of paper. The more people are trained to think critically, the more they will be able to judge for themselves who to listen to or learn from regardless of that paper status. No excuses!

  • What are you missing?
I went on another quick adventure today and found a fun little park with lots of trails to explore. It's funny. I've lived here for close to 15 years now and never knew the places I've visited recently existed. I've done so many things around here except explore the woods, apparently 🤣Seriously, though. It made me think of life in general. What in your life have you never explored because you were scared, unsure, had a bad experience once, didn't think you were capable, or whatever other excuse you've told yourself? You are so much more capable than you think. And that's a blanket statement. No matter where you're at in life, you have more to give. More to discover. More to bring out into the world. The question is never are you capable. The question will always be, are you courageous enough to go for it?No excuses!

  • Who's more unqualified?
Alright, I'm a little feisty today 😂Degrees aren't equal to expertise. If you study the wrong information long enough, you will be highly qualified in learning garbage. Congratulations!I followed the advice of nutritionists for a long time. I followed the science backed diet plans. They got me fat, arthritic, and several prescriptions. When I started listening to "unqualified" people and testing on myself, I lost 90 pounds and dropped all medications. I guess their science still can't out dual nature 😂The dredge of psychology being passed around now is only making our society weak. They tell you all the ways to try and diagnose and lay blame while telling those who figure out how to live life they need to change... Nah, dawg. I'm good. I tried that, too. I was sad following their advice. I'm much happier now finding solutions and not trying to find someone to blame. No excuses!

  • Don't be complacent!
When a message keeps coming to you and you don't know why, then maybe you should pay attention to it...That's what happened with this one tonight. The message was not clear. Complacency is the battle between success and effort. What? Why did I write this?So I sat on it and thought about it. What could it mean? Then I realized the message was really the same as other things I said recently. When you just go through the motions without intent behind your actions, you won't succeed. I guess that means I'm not learning a lesson God is trying to teach me, so he keeps sending me the same message. Maybe you need to hear it, too...No excuses!
