Mightywaybooks Presents: Kids and Kindness - Encouraging stories for children 8-13.

In our last episode, Leon Chandler and Keith Porter did not look forward to working together, but Mrs. Kelso had assigned them the task of sharing their poems. Leon was careful not to discourage Keith, and when it was time to share his own poem, Leon made one up. To his surprise, Mrs. Kelso heard his words and was amazed. Leon's secret was out. He was truly a gifted poet.

Last week, in the first chapter of Leon's Share, we met Leon Chandler, a fifth grader at Clara Barton Elementary School. Leon seems to have one goal - that is to keep his classmates laughing. Unfortunately, his joke telling is the very thing that keeps getting him into trouble at school.

Last week, the girls of the Double Dutch Club made it to the finals and realized the competition would be tough. They knew they would have to outperform a team called Excellence.
Earlier, Brittan had said she didn't want to jump, but when she saw her dad had made it to the competition, she knew she had something to jump about.
