Once allies of the Dark Angels, these berserkers adopted knightly codes, heraldry, and ritualised duels, but the Butcher’s Nails ensured their honour always ended in blood. From Juggernaut-mounted World Crusher Knights to oath-bound foot squads, every battle is a theatre of ceremony and carnage. We explore the 4 Orders of Battle, their 8 Codes of Slaughter, the 8 Litanies and Chants of War, iconic champions like Slaughter Lord Varak and the way this warband blends medieval chivalry with the unstoppable fury of Khorne. It’s honour, ritual, and sheer violence, told from the perspective of those who live it.
