S4 Ep5: Christmas Pressures- Why are we doing the most?
Christmas Pressures: Why Are We Doing the Most?
It’s nearly Christmas, and the girls are talking about all the festive pressures from spending money we don’t have to doing events we don’t even enjoy.
Vic and Charlie chat honestly about social overload, financial guilt, mum expectations, Elf on the Shelf, matching jammies, and the way social media makes everyone feel like they’re falling behind. They also dive into food and body image at Christmas, the binge–restrict cycle, January guilt, and how to enjoy the season without punishing yourself.
Expect stories about Secret Santa politics, overpriced KFC, Santa memories, and what Christmas looks like with a baby in the mix. PLUS an update on the pod’s future (and why growing the audience really matters), and a reminder to enter the huge Christmas giveaway on Instagram at @twogirlsandtheworld_ before 17th December.🎄❤️

S4 Ep3: Charlie's Miscarriage
Trigger warning: miscarriage, pregnancy loss.
Charlie opens up about her recent miscarriage, including the confusing early scans, the conflicting information from doctors, the physical reality and the emotional rollercoaster that followed.
It affects 1 in 4 women, yet is still spoken about quietly, or not at all. And Charlie's opening up about all of it: from the first “oh my god… I’m pregnant” moment, to miscarrying naturally at home while still trying to get on with life (and Richie having hand, foot & mouth in the middle of it all 🙃).

And if you're going through this, you've been through it, or someone you love has, you’re absolutely not alone, and there’s no “right way” to feel. We love you, and our DMs are always open if you need to talk 💗

S4 Ep2: Tally Rye: Grief,Growth and Getting Through It
This week the girls sit down with the wonderful Tally Rye for a deep and honest chat about grief. What it looks like, how it changes, and how it shows up in unexpected ways.
Vic and Tally have known each other for over a decade, since their early fitness days. Tally shares her experience of losing her dad at 17, how grief shaped her relationship with food, body image and exercise, and what she’s learned through years of therapy and healing. The girls also talk about:
How grief can live in your body and show up as control, perfectionism or disconnection
The link between trauma, mental health, and our coping mechanisms
Navigating big life moments like weddings when someone you love isn’t there
Learning to actually feel emotions instead of pushing them down
How therapy helped Tally process her grief, and where it can sometimes go too far
Finding humour, healing and hope after loss
Trigger warning: this episode discusses grief and loss.

Welcome to Two Girls and The World. A podcast from us, Charlie and Vic, just two girls figuring out the world and having a lovely time as we go.
We believe everyone should have at least one friend that they can share anything and everything with. From life’s deepest dilemma’s to our candid confessions, no topic is off limits and we promise to have no filter.
We’re here to make you laugh, maybe cry and remind you that true friendship is about embracing the weird, the wonderful, and the wildly unhinged.
Whilst you might listen to this podcast in solitude, you won’t ever feel alone in your thoughts, feelings and experiences again.
Think of us as your honorary best friends- get on the sofa, grab a drink, and welcome to our World.
