He held a DJ residency at Tshwane FM’s Capcity Drive Show and secured a place in the top 10 of DJ Black Coffee’s AXE DJ competition—proof that he wasn’t just chasing a dream; he was living it. Yet, like many great artists, Adamigs faced a moment of pause. His first love—music—had to wait while he completed his studies, a testament to his resilience and commitment to growth. But now, after years of honing his craft and embracing every challenge along the way, he has arrived at a defining moment—his brand-new album, Identity, has officially dropped. A deeply personal and sonically rich project, Identity explores themes of self-discovery, heritage, and resilience, with tracks like An Ode to Kin serving as a tribute to the connections that shaped him.
