This week’s episode is what we like to call a meandering banger. We can’t explain how we started the conversation from the idolization of religious leaders and ended up at sexual grief (you’ll get it when you listen). We also talked about our thoughts from the last episode and some of your opinions on our lovely co-wives. Most importantly, we spoke about what we’d do if we won the lottery, because who doesn’t love a bit of delusion? Welcome to the inaugural episode of The Real Co-wives of Lagos City! Our first guests of the season are co-wives, married to the same husband and living in the same household. What happens when your husband brings you a (pregnant) co-wife? We get into what it’s really like in a polygamous household and how it even began in the first place. We also learn how our co-wives manage tensions, children, sharing one man, and their personal relationship dynamics. You know what rhymes with 2026? ISWIS! We’re back with a bang for season 8! In the first episode of the year, we discuss whether New Year's resolutions are in or out, and somehow we end up complaining about the Nigerian experience (as usual). We talk about our super fun holidays and the need to add more whimsy and enjoyment in life — maybe that’s our actual New Year's resolution. We also discuss the need to reduce pleasantries or niceties and actually chat with people to find out how they’re really doing. And of course, the 2026 dilemmas are really juicy! When will you guys actually change? We get into dating siblings, using someone to secure a visa, feeling jealous towards someone else’s success and the possibility of your parent cheating on their spouse! Ladies & Gents, welcome to our last episode of season 7. We’ve had such a fantastic run with you all yet again, and this season ends on a high note. We discussed all the fun activities we’re getting up to this month, and how our year has truly felt from January to December. This led us to reflect on the areas we want to improve in 2026, including supporting our friends with their children. We talked about becoming better support groups for parents, getting married SOON so we can receive free transfer (wife privileges), and some really juicy dilemmas about loving someone even though they’re cheating and your partner hating your weight gain (crazy).
