This week’s episode takes us on a journey — no, really, we’re joined by Christina and Omolara, who are a bus driver & conductor duo in the city of Lagos. These up-and-doing ladies have done everything from fashion design and trading to selling bush meat, and are now in the transportation business. They take us through what it’s like plying Lagos roads as women, the passengers, heavy taxes and circumstances they have to deal with on a daily basis, while also being mothers and breadwinners for their families. We also discuss the horrendous situation affecting women in Ozoro currently and the worsening safety conditions women have to deal with in Nigeria.

They take us behind the scenes of what it’s like to work at a popular Lagos club, and everything you didn’t expect while working a 9-5 (we mean 9pm to 5am). From getting huge tips in foreign currency to getting slapped by club-goers 😭. We got the inside scoop on working in the service industry and people’s perceptions of women working in Nightlife, especially in Lagos. We also helped out with some deeply unserious dilemmas concerning morning or nighttime sex (pick your fighter), feeling irritated that your partner got scammed out of 3 million and feeling left out of a friendship even though you communicate consistently.
