    - One book every Christian should read outside the Bible
    - Rapid fire: favorite sport, favorite athlete, dream foursome, favorite hymn, favorite book of the Bible, favorite Bible verse, and more

US Open Preview and Greatest Sermon Recap | The Greatest Sermon Ever Preached | Episode 171

    2026/06/19 | 50 mins.
In this episode, the guys preview the US Open at Shinnecock Hills and recap the Sermon on the Mount. The Sermon on the Mount is meant to drive us to Jesus Christ for salvation and then to show us what it looks like to be a disciple in God's invisible kingdom as we live everyday life in the real world.

We are at the end of our study on the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, the Son of the Living God, preached this message to show His followers what it looks like to be a disciple in His invisible kingdom as we live everyday lives in the real world.

And when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, for he was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes. His teaching was astonishing, both because of what He taught and how He taught it.

    Topics covered:
    - US Open preview at Shinnecock Hills on Long Island
    - Fairways, greens, par 3's, and picks
    - The character of a disciple: the Beatitudes and being salt and light (Matthew 5:1-16)
    - The requirements of a disciple: unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:17-48)
    - The practices of a disciple: how to give, how to pray, how to fast, and how to relate to money (Matthew 6:1-7:12)
    - Do not be anxious about your life (Matthew 6:25)
    - Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33)
    - The assessment of a disciple: two gates, two roads, two groups, two destinations (Matthew 7:13-28)
    - Jesus as the Judge of the world (Matthew 7:21-23)
    - The wise man and the foolish man (Matthew 7:24-27)
    - Swing thoughts and final encouragements

Who Gets Into Heaven? | The Greatest Sermon Ever Preached | Ep. 170

    2026/06/12 | 43 mins.
In this episode, the guys talk about Ben's first Champions Tour win, the Memorial Tournament, and who gets into heaven from Matthew 7:21-27. These are sobering verses. But they can be extremely comforting if we come to Christ as He prescribes.

We are getting to the end of our study on the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, the Son of the Living God, preached this message to show His followers what it looks like to be a disciple in His invisible kingdom as we live everyday lives in the real world.

In Matthew 7:21-27, Jesus puts this assessment before us again. And in two different paragraphs, He makes clear who it is who will enter His kingdom in the end. There is hardly a more important question to understand and act on than this one.

    Topics covered:
    - Ben Crane wins his first tournament on the Champions Tour!
    - Congrats to JT Poston on a gritty win at the Memorial Tournament
    - RBC Canadian Open preview and picks
    - Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 7:21)
    - The one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven
    - On that day many will say to me, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name? (Matthew 7:22)
    - I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness (Matthew 7:23)
    - Everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock (Matthew 7:24)
    - Everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand (Matthew 7:26)
    - The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew (Matthew 7:25-27)
    - Real faith acts
    - Swing thoughts

Two Paths, Choose Wisely! | The Greatest Sermon Ever Preached | Ep. 169

    2026/06/05 | 48 mins.
In this episode, after recapping the Charles Schwab Challenge and previewing the Memorial Tournament, the guys unpack Matthew 7:13-20 and Jesus' command for His disciples to enter by the narrow gate and beware of false prophets. There are only two gates, two roads, two groups, and two destinations. And spoiler alert! The right choice comes with difficulty. But it also comes with great reward.

We are coming toward the end of our study in the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, the Son of the Living God, preached this message to show His followers what it looks like to be a disciple in His invisible kingdom as we live everyday lives in the real world.

Today we start the final section of the Sermon on the Mount, which deals with the assessment of a disciple in the kingdom of God. Today's passage, Matthew 7:13-20, brings us to a fork in the road. When it comes to Christ and His kingdom, these verses show us there are only two possible choices: two very different roads that lead to two very different destinations.

    Topics covered:
    - Congrats to Russell Henley on his win at Colonial and Memorial Tournament preview and picks
    - Enter by the narrow gate (Matthew 7:13)
    - Two gates, two roads, two groups, two destinations (Matthew 7:13-14)
    - The gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many
    - The gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few
    - Jesus as the narrow gate (John 10:9)
    - Beware of false prophets who come in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves (Matthew 7:15)
    - You will recognize them by their fruits (Matthew 7:16-20)
    - Religious, educational, and cultural false prophets in the 21st century
    - Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire (Matthew 7:19)
    - Swing thoughts

The Golden Rule | The Greatest Sermon Ever Preached | Ep. 168

    2026/05/29 | 43 mins.
In this episode, William Kane, Ben Crane, and Webb Simpson take a number of listener questions and then unpack Matthew 7:12. Whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Our goal is that we would allow this verse to move past the layer of familiarity deep into our minds and down into our hearts so that it begins to transform the way that we live.

We are continuing in our study in the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, the Son of the Living God, preached this message to show His followers what it looks like to be a disciple in His invisible kingdom as we live everyday lives in the real world.

We are finishing up the third major section in the Sermon on the Mount, which deals with the practices of a disciple in the kingdom of God. Today, we close out section three of the Sermon on the Mount by looking at one little verse: the Golden Rule. This little verse is the Law of the Kingdom in summary.

    Topics covered:
    - Listener questions on wedge bounce and grind, perseverance in the faith, and how to keep God the main thing while chasing a dream
    - The two steps Jesus gives us in the Golden Rule (Matthew 7:12)
    - For this is the Law and the Prophets
    - Love your neighbor as yourself and the connection to the Golden Rule (Matthew 22:37-40)
    - Just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another (John 13:34-35)
    - How has Jesus loved us?
    - When we love one another, everyone wins: it glorifies God, it serves others, it gladdens us, and it draws people to Jesus (John 15:8-12)
    - What does love look like in action: bearing burdens, encouraging, honoring, forgiving, speaking the truth in love
    - Swing thoughts
