Sudanese officials take away church property

In Sudan, Africa, a 97% Muslim country, the battle for the soul of the church is not only fought with guns. It’s also fought with court papers, administrative orders, and calculated division, reports International Christian Concern.

For years, successive authorities in Khartoum, the capital, have pressured church leaders to comply, and then moved to seize control of church properties.

One church now at the center of this struggle is the Sudanese Church of Christ, Marzouq Branch, established in 1982.

The Sudanese government is now moving to sell or transfer control of the property.  

The pastor said, “When a church that has stood since 1982 is suddenly told it no longer belongs to the people who prayed and sacrificed for it, the wound goes deeper than the loss of a building. It tells every believer that even the house of God is not safe.” 

Isaiah 10:1 says, “Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees.”

Voters may be unhappy with Trump, but know Democrats are worse

Appearing on CNN, Republican political strategist and commentator Scott Jennings argued that voters can be unhappy with President Donald Trump without believing Democrats are the better alternative.

JENNINGS: “It's going to be possible for people to have some problems with the current administration or have some issue with the way things are going, and still vote for the party in power, because they don't want to vote for the other party.

“Because the other party in the election might be proven to have worse ideas, or to have been judged to have put us in this hole in the first place. That's really the case that the Republicans are going to wind up making.”

Judge restores CNN, MS NOW and Politico access to White House

On September 18, President Donald Trump had announced that he was banning CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House premises over their publishing sensitive or classified information. The White House said such behavior presented risks to national security.

On September 24, federal Judge Timothy Kelly of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia issued a temporary restraining order against the government ban, reinstating access for all three media outlets, reports The Epoch Times.

North Carolina church baptizes 458 people in a single day

In Acts 2:38, we are commanded to “repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.”

Well, on Sunday, September 13th, 458 people did just that in one day at Biltmore Church, a multisite church in Fletcher, North Carolina, as part of its annual Outdoor Baptism event, reports The Christian Post.

Biltmore Pastor Devin Goins and the pastoral team baptized them in a nearby lake. He explained, “In the days before Outdoor Baptism, anyone interested was personally contacted by our staff to confirm that they knew Christ personally as their Savior and were ready to take this next step of obedience as a Christ-follower.”

Overall, Pastor Goins said that seeing so many people get baptized creates "an opportunity to celebrate and praise God for being at work in our midst.”

Sri Lanka sentenced 15 men for bombing churches

Sri Lanka’s High Court sentenced 15 men to life in prison on Tuesday for bombing churches.

In this island country off the coast of India in the Indian Ocean, the men participated in the bombings of three churches on Easter Sunday in 2019. Religiously speaking, nearly 70 percent of the 22 million Sri Lankans are Buddhist, 12 percent are Hindu, 11 percent are Muslim, and 7 percent are Christian. 

The terrorist group, Islamic State, inspired the attacks which killed over 250 people.

The Catholic Church welcomed the convictions. However, leaders are also calling for an investigation into alleged political involvement behind the bombings.

South Korea to greenlight Abortion Kill Pill for mothers

LifeSiteNews reports that South Korea is set to allow deadly abortion drugs into the country. The government made the announcement last week.

Mothers will be able to get Abortion Kill Pills up to nine weeks of their pregnancies by early 2027.

South Korea decriminalized abortion in 2019. It delayed legislation on abortion pills due to push back from Christian groups. 

United Nations trying to criminalize pro-life & pro-family positions

The United Nations General Assembly meeting opened in New York City on Tuesday. 

Leaders from around the world gathered to discuss issues like the U.S.-Iran war, the Russia-Ukraine war, and Artificial Intelligence. 

Member nations are also considering a proposal to criminalize pro-life and pro-family positions under international law. CitizenGO organized a petition against this which has been signed by over 140,000 people. You can sign it through a link in our transcript today at TheWorldview.com. 

In the midst of the foolishness at the United Nations, U.S. President Donald Trump stood tall for common sense and condemned transgenderism at the U.N. meeting.

TRUMP: “It is equally unacceptable that, with all the genuine atrocities in the world, the U.N.'s top human rights officials spend their time criticizing the United States for protecting our children from transgender insanity.”

Dept of Justice gets two hospitals to stop transgender operations

In related news, the U.S. Department of Justice announced that two hospital systems have agreed to end transgender operations.

New York University Langone Hospitals and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center will no longer offer transgender drugs and surgeries to children. 

Attorney General Todd Blanche said, “Today’s resolutions send a clear message: Hospitals that target children in these practices and then fraudulently obtain payment for the procedures will be held to account!”

Over 40 hospital systems have ended transgender operations since President Trump began his second term last year.

28 percent of churchgoers say Biblical truth becomes obsolete

LifeWay Research released a new survey on what churchgoers believe about the Bible.

Most Protestant churchgoers in the U.S. are confident in their ability to understand the Bible and explain it to others.

However, most churchgoers also believe that the truth of God’s Word can mean different things to different people. And a growing number share doubt or reject Biblical truths. 

Specifically, 28 percent said some Biblical truths become obsolete as culture changes, up from 24 percent in 2019. Among churchgoers under the age of 30, 54 percent believe that Biblical truths become obsolete as culture changes

But Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Microchip maker joins trillion-dollar club

Another U.S. company joined the trillion-dollar club.

Advanced Micro Devices, or AMD, surpassed one trillion dollars in market capitalization on Monday. The computer chip maker has profited from the growth of Artificial Intelligence computing. 

It’s now the fourth chipmaker in the United States to reach a trillion dollar valuation. The others are Nvidia, Broadcom, and Micron.  

Researchers discovered new species of wild cat

And finally, researchers discovered a new species of wild cat for the first time in a century. 

It’s known as the Tilcayo tiger cat. The feline is spotted and smaller than most house cats. It’s been living at a wildlife sanctuary in Bolivia, South America for years. Locals knew about it, but scientists had not identified it as a unique species until now. 

Jonas Lescroart with the University of Antwerp said, “Even in groups that are very well studied, like the cat family, apparently there’s still a diversity that is hidden.”

Indeed, God continues to surprise us with His creation. In Psalm 50:10-11, God says, “For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the mountains, and the wild beasts of the field are Mine.”

Christians call for release of Syrian former mayor

A persecution watchdog group is calling for the release of a Christian in Syria. 

Suleiman Khalil used to be the mayor of the historic Christian town of Sadad. Syrian authorities arrested him last year. He’s been in prison without charges for 19 months.

GHAZAL: “He was abducted from his home and thrown in prison, without access to counsel, limited access to family medical care. This event is not unique. This is happening all across Syria in many different ways, but it sends a message to Christians that you are not welcome in Syria. You are not Syrians. You are visitors, you are guests, and this is how you will be treated.”

Canadian officials euthanized 83-year Christian great-grandmother

Law enforcement officials in Canada are now investigating the killing of a Christian great-grandmother.

Eighty-three-year-old Brigitte Stegemann was euthanized on July 10. This happened against her will and against the will of her family.

Her granddaughter Brigette Kranendonk said, “I truly believe that one nurse really saw us as an obstacle. We were getting in the way of her doing [euthanasia] on my grandmother. I think she really, truly believes that [euthanasia] is the best for people, and shame on me for trying to stop that.”

Proverbs 12:10 says, “The tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.”

Will European Union add Canada?

The European Union is exploring ways to add Canada as an associate member, reports the Epoch Times. 

European Union Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen told Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, “I would like to work with you on opening the door for Canada to be the first associate member of the European Union.”

Von der Leyen continued, “Our cultural, historical, and personal links run deep in the fabric of our societies and thanks to the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement our trade and goods has grown by 75 percent in less than a decade.” 

Carney responded on X, “With President von der Leyen and [European Parliament] President [Roberta] Metsola, we focused on what comes next: a closer partnership that strengthens our mutual sovereignty in order to create more opportunities and prosperity for our people.” 

However, the idea has received pushback from conservatives in Canada. 

Trump’s Greenland deal allows America’s military presence

The United States is establishing a larger military presence on Greenland.

President Donald Trump signed an agreement with the leaders of Greenland and Denmark on Tuesday. 

The agreement does not make Greenland a territory of the U.S. But it does allow the U.S. military to use the region for its missile defense shield.

TRUMP: “We will have the complete ability to do what is necessary to defend the American continent and also Europe and other places. No U.S. adversary will ever be permitted to establish a military presence in Greenland anymore or make sensitive investments there without our express written approval.

“We will immediately begin the process of developing a large military presence in the appropriate locations. We'll be building two very major military bases.”

How Christians are reaching the deaf

And finally, Christian ministries are reaching the deaf and hard-of-hearing with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

RevelationMedia, in partnership with the International Mission Board, launched an animated Bible resource. It’s the Gospel of Luke, word-for-word, in American Sign Language. In it, the characters themselves sign through the story.

Myanmar military killed third pastor

The Myanmar military junta has killed a third pastor, reports International Christian Concern.

Pastor Tuang was returning to Lamzang after conducting religious activities in a nearby village. Bullets reportedly struck his chest, abdomen, and thigh. This appears to be the continuation of targeted attacks on Baptist pastors in the Chin State.

Since the 2021 coup, the military has damaged or destroyed 340 churches and buildings owned by Christians.

Ukraine knocked out 30% of Russia’s oil refining industry

Ukraine is crippling Russia’s oil industry in a more recent series of drone attacks in the ongoing war.  Another oil-refinery was hit over the weekend. 

The International Energy Association estimates that 30% of Russia’s oil refining industry has been knocked out in recent attacks.

America punishes countries who purchase Russian oil

President Donald Trump signed the Lindsay Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 which Congress recently passed.

The bill authorizes up to 100% tariffs on U.S. imports from countries purchasing Russian oil and gas.  Specifically, China and India are the major buyers of Russian oil. 

Oil and gas make up about one-eighth of the Russian economy, and contribute one-quarter of the federal revenues for the country.

Not surprisingly, the Russian Gross Domestic Product has been hit badly in 2025 and 2026 — with a 0.5% GDP growth expected this year, down from 4.5% in previous years.

Putin’s party won election after banning anti-war party

The preliminary results of the Russian parliamentary elections held over the weekend are in. No surprise here. Vladimir Putin’s party received 57% of the vote. That’s up from 50% in 2021.

That comes after the anti-war party was banned from the election, and anti-Kremlin figures were imprisoned, exiled, barred, or otherwise disappeared. All the remaining major parties broadly support Putin's government and the war.

Condo prices are falling

Condo prices have been dropping steadily in U.S. major markets since real estate peaked in 2022. 

Adjusted for inflation, Florida and California cities have seen a 30-42% drop in condo prices since 2022. Denver, Colorado condo prices have dipped 28%.

U.S. deficit hit $2 trillion

The U.S. federal deficit year to date hit $2 trillion at the end of August. The Congressional Budget Office is estimating a $2.1 trillion deficit for the year.

That would amount to an 18% bump on the deficit over last fiscal year, and a 34% increase in deficit spending over President Biden’s first year.

Right now, according to the U.S. Debt Clock, America is burdened with a staggering $40 trillion debt.

Meryl Streep will portray Aslan in new Narnia movie

Now, Narnia is going woke.

Turns out, the latest movie production of C.S. Lewis’ Narnia tale, Magician’s Nephew, will feature Aslan, the character who portrays Christ, as a female voice. Actress Meryl Streep is Aslan this time around, and Christians are not happy.

Commentator Isabel Brown called this “a slap in the face to the genius of Lewis, but also a deliberate mockery of Christianity that is 100% intentional. So deeply disappointing.”

Another online comment noted, “Had they actually read Narnia, and The Last Battle specifically, they would know that dressing [a donkey] up in a lion skinsuit does not end well.

The director for this latest Narnia film, Greta Gerwig, is best known for directing the Barbie movie — an explicit diatribe on feminism.

Let’s keep in mind Galatians 6:7. It says, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”

Supreme Court rejected Trump’s mail-in ballot accountability

The Trump administration continues to battle with the Supreme Court over mail-in ballots, as the high court rejected Trump’s executive order that would have added verification codes to ballots received through the mail.

The President responded on Truth Social. He wrote, “Republicans just got another bad decision from the United States Supreme Court, one that the Court System took forever to give, and then blamed it, in part, on no time left to implement a solution to our totally CORRUPT and out of control Mail-In voting ‘disaster,’ which is a laughing stock all over the World.”

And now, the FBI  is assigning “election crisis coordinators” for all 56 field offices,” according to FBI Director Kash Patel.  

New York Times poll puts Democrats 8 points ahead of Republicans

Speaking of the November 3rd election, early voting has already begun in certain states across America.  The midterm elections will determine the balance of the U.S. House and Senate, both of which currently enjoy a Republican majority.

A New York Times/Siena poll, conducted between September 8th-13th, puts Democrats eight points ahead of Republicans.

Several Senate races have become especially tight and remain in the spotlight, with conservatives seeking to keep Texas red and supporting Republican Ken Paxton over Democrat James Talarico. 

Democrats are also looking at flipping a Senate seat in Maine. 

Anniversary of Martin Luther’s translation of German New Testament

And finally, yesterday marked the 504th anniversary of the first printing of Martin Luther’s translation of the German New Testament. That’s right, back in 1522, Luther finished one of his most precious life works. 

Referencing this monumental feat, church historian Philip Schaff wrote, “The most important and useful work of [Luther’s] whole life, is the translation of the New Testament, by which he brought the teaching and example of Christ and the Apostles to the mind and heart of the Germans in life-like reproduction. It was a republication of the Gospel. He made the Bible the people's book in church, school, and house.” 

In Luke 4:4, Jesus told the Devil, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’ ”

Chinese Communists arrest 11 from Early Rain Covenant Church

As the elders of the 500-member Early Rain Covenant Church met quietly on September 10th at a local teahouse to discuss church matters, Chinese Communist authorities were already on to them, reports International Christian Concern.

Around 3:00 p.m., police entered the teahouse, interrupted the meeting, and arrested 11 of the elders.

Early Rain has a nearly 10-year history of being harassed, monitored, and pressured by the Chinese Communist Party.

Most of the elders are in their 70s. He Futao, age 73, has notable health conditions. He recently underwent surgery to remove a lung infected by cancer.

Police told church members and relatives that they were doing “an investigation into a cult.” At midnight the following day, an ambulance arrived. They speculated that one of the elders needed emergency medical assistance. 

By 10 a.m. on Saturday, police had finally released nine people. However, Elder Wu Wuqing and Shen Xiaqing are still being held and are accused of “illegally organizing proselytizing activities.” They were fined and sentenced to 10 days of detention.

The Early Rain Covenant Church members in China are boldly living out Romans 1:16 which says, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.”

Kellyanne Conway: It's not who they will vote for but whether they will vote

In an interview with former Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway, Fox News host Martha MacCallum cited a New York Times story about how the November 3rd election is shaping up, reports RealClearPolitics.com.

MACCALLUM: “Let’s go to this headline from earlier today. ‘Less than seven weeks before the midterm elections, the political environment has deteriorated so badly for Republicans that the battlefield now extends deep into states and districts that Mr. Trump carried three times, often by double digits.’

“When you look at where the money's going, where the president's going to spend his time, what does it tell you about the challenge here?”

CONWAY: “So, there are a few challenges here. Obviously, 92% of the midterms, the party in power loses seats. A 73% loss of Senate seats. So that's a historical trend. I think if anybody can defy political gravity in some of these places and spaces, it's President Trump and his team. …

“The non-college educated voters right now favor Republicans over Democrats by 16 points. Why is that relevant? That's the heart of the Trump coalition. But for them, Martha, they are feeling some economic grievance and uncertainty and pressure.

“For them, the question is not for whom to vote; it's whether they're going to bother at all. And that's the big question here.

“I think if the president and his money goes to turnout mechanisms, he's basically saying, ‘I'm the big turnout mechanism. I will go to 35 places in 30 states.’ I think sometimes it's more important than money. …

“I was waiting for the Democrats to tell the press they were expanding the map. And that tells you that they're not satisfied with the 21 truly toss-up seats going their way.”

Senator Hawley urges Congress to outlaw chemical abortions

Last Wednesday, Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri announced that 50,000 Americans from across the country signed a new, 4-page “Declaration for Life” within hours of its public release that calls on Americans “to stand for life” and for Congress ‘”to ban the chemical abortion drug mifepristone,” reports The Washington Stand.

He added, “We think this declaration, written by pastors, is calling on spiritual leaders and everyday Christians across America to stand for life and to confront the scourge of chemical abortion. It is so critical on this the 250th anniversary of America.”

Earlier this year, Senator Hawley introduced Senate Bill 4066, the Safeguarding Women from Chemical Abortion Act that would outlaw chemical abortions.

[On the House side of the Capitol, the same legislation was introduced as House Resolution 7902 by Republican Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger of Tennessee. The Senate bill has seven co-sponsors, all Republicans, while the House bill has 11 co-sponsors, also all GOPers.]

Sadly, neither the Senate nor the House proposal has been advanced to committee hearings, as Republican leaders focus on other issues.

Americans fail the Constitution pop quiz

Last Thursday, September 17th, was Constitution Day, an annual federal observance. The day commemorates the September 17, 1787, signing of the U.S. Constitution by 39 delegates to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia.

According to the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania,  which conducted a Constitution Day Civics Survey, over 35% of U.S. adults cannot name all three branches of the U.S. government, reports The Daily Citizen.  If you’re listening to the newscast with your family right now, pause it and see which of your younger children can correctly identify the three branches of government.   If they said, the three branches are legislative, executive and judicial, give them a high five.

The survey also found Americans’ knowledge of their First Amendment rights is sorely lacking. The Amendment contains five enumerated rights, including:


The right to free speech

The right to freely exercise religion

The right to peaceably assemble

The right to freedom of the press

The right to petition the government for redress of grievances.


While 73% of Americans can name freedom of speech as a right guaranteed by the First Amendment, only 43% can name freedom of religion, an embarrassing 31% can identify freedom of assembly, a paltry 29% can name freedom of the press, and a pathetic 12% can name the right to petition the government.

Worse yet, 24% of American adults cannot name one of them.

Seattle City Council voted to protect polygamy and infidelity

And finally, on September 15, the Seattle City Council, in a unanimous vote, removed the legal reality of male and female in city statute. Plus, the leaders gave legal recognition and protections to a whole host of very unhealthy sexual and gender identities, reported KUOW.

Glenn Stanton, the director of Global Family Formation Studies at Focus on the Family, said, “They even backtracked on the lie that sexual orientation rests on ‘just being born that way.’ And Seattle’s City Council had to do all this because the gender and sexual revolution keeps moving its own goal posts.”

The fools who call themselves wise said this vote “updates the existing protected class of ‘sexual orientation’” by removing any “reference to the male and female gender binary.”

Stanton insists that this claim of being non-binary is a “fictitious ideological construct which does not exist in nature. Every cell in the human body is sexed. That sex is either male or female.”

Worse yet, Seattle now recognizes “‘pansexuality’ as a sexual orientation subject to civil rights protections.” Pansexuality is also a made-up term, created to cover over the embarrassment that “bisexuality” rests on the dreaded “gender binary.” 

The Focus on the Family expert asserted, “The creation of pansexuality was needed because gender theory now incoherently holds that anyone can be any of the 20, 68, 72, 81, or 87 sexualities” that exist in the minds of different leftists. Being bi- is now the flat-earther of gender theory and the Seattle City Council is just trying to keep up with the moving goal posts.

In Matthew 19:4, Jesus asked, “Have you not read that God who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female’?”
