The Rosary in a Year (with Fr. Mark-Mary Ames)

We pray with the Second and Third Glorious Mysteries: the Ascension of Jesus and the Descent of the Holy Spirit. As Jesus ascends into heaven, we reflect on the mystery of his closeness, how his union with the Father makes him even more present to each of us. Then, with Mary and the disciples in the Upper Room, we await the coming of the Holy Spirit in prayerful hope. The fire of Pentecost renews and transforms the fearful into bold proclaimers of the Gospel. We pray these decades of the rosary with them, asking for that same courage and renewal in our own lives.
