The Bible encourages us to befriend unbelievers so that they might hear about Jesus and see Him in our lives, but the Bible also discourages us from forming partnerships, unions, or bonds with unbelievers. Paul warns us about this for two reasons: incompatibility and influence. Christians and non-Christians have different views, values, standards, and perspectives that will cause friction and strife within a partnership or union. In addition, the nonbeliever has the potential to influence the Believer in ways that might compromise him or her. Pastor Gary helps us to understand the wisdom of this passage in relation to dating, marriage, business relationships, and legally binding arrangements.

Don’t Disgrace God’s Grace
God’s grace is His unmerited, undeserved favor toward us. We are the recipients of God’s grace in various forms. Someone once defined “GRACE” with the acronym: God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. In 2 Corinthians 6:1, Paul warns us that it’s possible to receive God’s grace “in vain.” In other words, we can treat God’s grace with disgrace or contempt by how we behave. In today’s study, Pastor Gary warns us about the five ways we can receive God’s grace in vain.
