Al the Squatchfather, founder of the Bronxville Paranormal Society, the New York State Dogman Project, the New York State UFO Project, and the New York State Sasquatch Organization, shares decades of Dogman, Sasquatch, skunk ape, and UFO encounters from Florida to New York. He starts with a childhood where psychics and seances were normal and a skunk ape summer at age 12 in 1974, then walks through a Dogman bluff charge caught in a photo, a den found in a swamp, a Halloween night with a UFO, shadow figures and two lost hours, and the Dogman that tracked him to his own home. Al explains how a creature vanished from three cameras including thermal, why he believes Dogman, Sasquatch, and a UFO over his house can all hear his thoughts, and what a psychic told him about a giant buck that appeared on a trail. He also tells the story of a Florida deputy whose patrol car met a skunk ape, the prized bull found the same night, and why no one ever came to interview the witnesses. Al finishes by sharing where to find his groups and hints at a part two on UFO abduction.

In This Episode
•      Al grew up where the paranormal was normal: a psychic mom, a parapsychologist brother, an aunt who was a white witch, and a grandmother who came to tuck him in every night for a week after she died when he was five.  
•      At 12 in 1974, a skunk ape came to his sister's house near Davie, Florida. After he started the Bronxville Paranormal Society, his team got bluff charged on Halloween night, and Al's photo caught a Dogman head sniffing over a stone wall.  
•      Six months later he felt pulled back. Infrasound, a hidden trail, and a snarling Dogman in a den. Three cameras, full spectrum, thermal and infrared, caught nothing, and Al thinks it shimmered or jumped dimensions.  
•      That Halloween also brought a UFO, seven foot shadow figures, balls of light that blinked out under his lasers, a phantom family on the Appalachian Trail, and two lost hours.  
•      On a recent trip to the sacred site with his cousin Sean, a Dogman howled, screamed from a hill, and pushed them out over a four and a half mile hike. Yellow eyeshine followed them. A giant buck then blocked the trail, and Al's psychic calls it an elemental.  
•      At home, a Dogman pulled a tree down behind his house, sniffed at his bedroom window, left four claw marks, and tried his sliding door despite three deadbolts. Al finally told it, "You stay here. I'll stay at my house."  
•      A telepathy test at a stone chamber led to a UFO over his house, one that showed in every camera spectrum except thermal. Al now believes Dogman and UFOs can hear our thoughts.  
•      Back to Davie, 1974: dogs going crazy, an awful smell, and an eight to nine foot skunk ape in the driveway. It left an eighteen inch footprint that nobody ever cast.  
•      Gunshots came from the neighboring horse ranch, and a deputy's patrol car hit a skunk ape "like an oak tree." The deputy told the sheriff, "Shotgun wasn't big enough." A huge search found nothing.  
•      Al shares a friend's theory of caverns under the canals, the BFRO report on the Sunshine Acres incident, and why no one ever interviewed his family, the only witnesses.  
•      Al says he hasn't touched his UFO abduction stories yet, and shares where to find the Bronxville Paranormal Society and his New York State projects.

Codex Origins re-release, the very first episode of Codega’s Codex of Curiosities: near death experience (NDE) survivor and Planet 412 YouTuber Matt tells what he says happened when his heart stopped for over 90 seconds, including a visit with his late parents, and goes on to share his family’s jinn story from Lebanon, childhood hauntings, UFO sightings, and a grunt he recorded on a mountain trail at Beaver Creek State Park in Ohio.   Matt explains where the name Planet 412 comes from, how a leg amputation and ten surgeries in a year led up to the night an artery in his leg gave out in the family car, and what he remembers from the other side: hundreds of blurry people, his mom and dad standing next to him, and his mom telling him it wasn’t his time. He also talks about the Beast of Youngstown encounter he had at 14, dreams that come true, and a portal in the Ohio woods.   This is a Codex Origins episode, an early conversation from the Codega’s Codex of Curiosities vault, back with remastered audio. In This Episode
•           Matt explains what Planet 412 means. 412 was his childhood address on Laura Avenue on the north side of Youngstown, Ohio, a house that’s now an empty lot. His dad used to play 412 boxed in the lottery and won with it four or five times, and Matt says he’s seen 4:12 on a clock almost every day of his life. When he and his wife looked up the angel number meaning for 412, he says it read like a description of him. Rye adds that the numbers add up to seven in numerology, the number of communication, which fits a sports broadcaster who has called games for 17 years.  
•           Matt walks through the run of events that led to his near death experience. In April 2022 he lost his right leg below the knee, and over about a year he had 10 surgeries on top of 14 surgeries on his left knee from his college football days. After a fall left a suture line open on his amputated leg, he waited about five hours at the hospital without being seen, lost his patience, and called his wife to pick him up.  
•           On the way home, about two minutes from the house, Matt and his wife heard what sounded like running water in the car. An artery in his leg had given way, and the car’s carpet was already soaked. His wife pulled into a gas station with their 14 year old daughter in the back seat, where a clerk called 911, an ex combat medic made a makeshift tourniquet, and a doctor who happened to be driving by stopped to help. Matt says he lost consciousness several times, the last time telling his wife and daughter he was sorry as he heard them screaming.  
•           Matt describes his near death experience. He found himself standing outside with hundreds of people around him who were out of focus, some facing him and some turned away. He turned and saw his mom and dad. His dad had died of pancreatic cancer 11 years earlier and his mom had died four years earlier of complications from lupus, and Matt says it was as real as sitting across from Rye. His dad never spoke but smiled and put a big arm around him. His mom told him she loved him but he couldn’t stay, and when she touched his cheek, he saw a flash of light and woke up on the operating table.  
•           Matt tells what the hospital staff told him afterward: he’d lost about three pints of blood, was blue and shaking, and the trauma team was nearly out the door when they got the call. He received over 10 units of blood, and a resident told him she watched his heart stop for over 90 seconds. He also shares an earlier close call, when bleeding ulcers and a burst blood vessel dropped his hemoglobin to 2.1. He says he’s come to believe he’s here for a reason, and Ry shares his own view that fate brings us to crossroads while free will decides which way we go.  
•           Matt and Ry look at the drawing of the Beast of Youngstown, based on what Matt and three friends saw when he was 14. Matt says the eyes glowed yellowish orange and never changed in brightness the entire time, and the hair was only an inch and a half long, shiny and groomed rather than matted. He’s clear this was no ordinary animal and says it felt supernatural. He points listeners to his earlier episode about the encounter, since this conversation focuses on his other experiences. 
•           Matt shares a family story that happened before he was born, told to him by his great aunt Alice in broken English with his mom translating. As a little girl in Lebanon she kept seeing a shadow in the corner of her eye, and the third time she turned to find a black figure with green eyes walking toward her. Her father couldn’t open their door, which never locked, and he split it with a cinder block. The figure vanished when he got through, a sliver of the rotten door went into his leg, and he died three days later of gangrene. She kept saying the word jinn.  
•           Matt talks about dreams that come true, a strong sense of detail, and gut feelings he says are right about 99% of the time. Ry tells him he falls under the description of an empath, and the two trade ideas about multiverses, the veil, and Hollywood stories that might be tapping into something true. Ry offers his own theory that Bigfoot house slapping works like the Native American practice of counting coup, a way of showing you got in and out without being caught. Rye says this is just an idea and that nobody knows.  
•           Matt tells a childhood story from 412 Laura Avenue, where he and his little brother were playing on their parents’ bed with Hot Wheels cars when something banged on the closed bedroom door three times. Nobody was in the hallway, and when it happened again the two of them held the door shut while it pushed back, until their mom came up with a wooden spoon and didn’t believe them. He also describes a haunted house two doors down, and two UFO sightings: a slow blue disc over the Gulf near Indian Shores, Florida with his daughter, and a Tic Tac shaped object changing colors at dusk over his own house. His advice is to put the phone down, take out the earbuds, and look up.  
•           Matt tells the story of Beaver Creek State Park in East Liverpool, Ohio, where he met friend Ernie at a Bigfoot conference campsite and a psychic named Johnny Freeman told him about a portal at the end of a trail. Matt was a couple of months out from a knee replacement, had a prosthetic leg and one crutch, and still went alone, crawling on all fours at times with a stream 200 feet below. He stopped about seven yards from the rock formation, sat on a fallen tree, and spoke out loud. When it went deathly quiet, he ran an EVP recording on his phone and caught a grunt and wood knocks he never heard in person. He later played it for Ron Morehead, who recorded the Sierra Sounds, and says Ron had him play it three times.

Bethany, a longtime listener of Codega's Codex of Curiosities, shares the spiritual awakening that followed the loss of her infant son Cruz in 2018, along with a strange entity encounter that she and her husband witnessed independently on the same night. Bethany walks through the messages she believes came from Cruz, including a dream a stranger felt compelled to pass along and a moment where she heard her son's voice break through her grief, before describing the night everything changed: camped out in her car on a dark country road, Bethany entered a dream state and saw an impossibly tall, two-dimensional being with pale skin, oval eyes, and long talon-like fingers wrapped around her car's side mirror. What makes the account remarkable is that her husband Sean, wide awake in the driver's seat, described the exact same being in matching detail, down to the witch-like hands, without any prompting from her. Bethany and Rye dig into what the entity might have been, why she felt curiosity instead of fear, and how a tarot pull of the death card lined up with the night it all happened.

In This Episode
•      Bethany, a longtime listener of the podcast, describes herself as a lifelong skeptic who never believed in the paranormal until her world changed in 2018, when she lost her infant son Cruz to SIDS at five months old. That loss became the starting point for a years-long spiritual awakening she still doesn't fully understand.  
•      Shortly after Cruz's death, a woman Bethany barely knew reached out with an unsolicited dream: an older man rocking a baby, with a clear message that "we're okay." The timing lined up with the first anniversary of Cruz's death, and the description of the older man matched two grandfather figures Bethany and her husband had lost around the same time, though Bethany admits she wasn't ready to process it as anything more than strange at the time.  
•      The real turning point came later, during a difficult period when Bethany was living apart from her husband Sean and working through unprocessed grief. In a moment of raw honesty with a family member, she heard what she describes as her son's voice, speaking as a five to seven year old, asking whether something good could still come from his death. It marked the start of her shift out of a dark period and into a more open relationship with the unexplained.  
•      As she reconciled with Sean and leaned into tools like tarot for processing her emotions, Bethany pulled the death card for the first time, a card she associates with letting go of old patterns rather than literal death. That same night, while trying to put distance between herself and an old friendship, she and Sean ended up camping overnight in their car on a quiet, wooded road.  
•      While asleep against the passenger window, Bethany entered what she describes as a dream state with multiple simultaneous perspectives: her own, one from above the vehicle, and one from her husband's point of view in the driver's seat. In it, she saw an impossibly tall, two-dimensional being, dressed entirely in black, with pale skin, oversized oval eyes, and long, talon-like fingers wrapped completely around the car's side mirror and resting near her window.  
•      Bethany woke to the sound of squealing tires as Sean sped them away from the spot at dawn. Without telling him what she had seen, she began asking careful questions about what had scared him, and his answer matched her own account almost exactly, down to the witch-like, elongated fingers and the unnaturally pale skin, even though neither of them had described it to the other first.   •      Sean later admitted that when he saw the being staring in at Bethany through the window, he tried to back the car into it. Instead of being struck, the figure appeared to mist out of the way and stayed visible in his rearview mirror until it evaporated as they crested a hill at sunrise.  
•      Unlike similar accounts Bethany has heard, including one involving a sleep paralysis style encounter with long spindly arms, she never felt fear during the sighting, only intense curiosity, as if the being were simply observing her. She theorizes it could be something ancient, tied to people going through major spiritual shifts or awakenings, though she's quick to admit she doesn't have a firm answer.  
•      Bethany closes the conversation teasing a separate, unsettling discovery involving a heavy, decomposing object she and Sean uncovered that she plans to detail more fully in a future episode.

Near death experiencer and whistleblower Greg, the creator behind the Uprising 144K channel and a former medical field worker of more than 20 years, picks up his story at the moment he slips back into his body on a canyon rock while still being in heaven, two places at once with two minds. Greg describes opening what he calls the eyes of light, seeing God in everything alive, and realizing heaven is right here. He then asks God the question he carried since his childhood prayers, "Where were you?", and shares the answer he says he got. Greg tells what happened when his highly religious brother came over to check on him and heard God's voice coming from inside him, why he believes people in scripture trembled before God, and how his experience led to his health research. The conversation covers what Greg says is in our drinking water, why he uses carbon distillation, molecular hydrogen, Lourdes, Masaru Emoto's water memory work, the medications and microplastics he says end up in the water supply, and where to find his protocols and videos. 

In This Episode
•      After lying in God for an hour or more, Greg started to open his eyes and slipped back into his body on the rock while still being in heaven. He says it felt like having two minds. The one on Earth was completely still, and he opened what he calls the eyes of light. He saw God as the light in everything alive, the canyon, the rocks, the trees, the river, and realized heaven is right here. He came away convinced the human body is a temple that should be respected, and that his lifelong sadness came from feeling disconnected from God, not from a lack of money, cars or success.  
•      Greg got to ask the question he'd carried since he was a kid who prayed constantly and never got help: "Where were you?" He admits he was angry and thought God had better have a good answer. God showed him a vision of watching him pray as a child and told him, "I couldn't interfere, for if I had, you would have never found me." Greg says the pain of not having God created the burning desire and gravity that pulled him back, and compares it to the prodigal son. He never questioned God again.  
•      Greg's brother, who is highly religious, had been watching from far away and came over because Greg had been lying still for so long. Greg could hear God's voice and his brother couldn't. As his brother stood to leave, Greg's hand grabbed his wrist with what felt like infinite strength, the sound got louder, and his brother's vision went completely dark in full daylight. His brother tried to run and was told there was no place to run. Greg told him not to be afraid, and when he spoke, his brother's sight came back. Greg tilted his head back, the sound came out of him, and his brother realized it was coming from inside him. Greg believes this is why people in scripture trembled before God: the light reveals everything in your soul in one second.  
•      Greg explains that he named his channel Uprising 144K after the 144,000 beings of light in the Bible, and that he has spent over a decade sharing what he learned, largely about health. After more than 20 years in the medical field, he says his own heart condition was confirmed healed by his cardiologist without surgery. He shares a story of a man with severe gout who followed his protocol and, Greg says, was symptom free after four months, and a surgeon who measured his own results. Greg stresses he isn't making medical claims and that he only shares what he personally uses. Everything starts, he says, with clean water.  
•      Greg shows a third-party lab report where forever chemicals (PFAS) read zero after carbon distillation, and says he learned the method by watching how creation cleans water: the sun lifts it, it leaves impurities behind, and it comes back as rain or snow. He says some water filter companies have faced lawsuits and some filters can make water worse, and mentions mypurewater.com with the code uprising144k. He then moves to molecular hydrogen, saying the Japanese found it in the waters of Lourdes, that more than 2,000 studies exist, and that he calls it the source of life. He covers Masaru Emoto's water memory work, a Japanese father who built a hydrogen device for his seriously ill daughter with help from companies like Toyota and Yamaha, and why oxygen oxidizes while hydrogen acts as a tiny antioxidant that can reach the mitochondria. •      Greg says his channel has been shadowbanned and throttled, so he asks listeners to follow him on Rumble, Instagram and X as backups, and he shares his email, uprising144k@gmail.com, and points people to myhydrogenprotocol.com, where his protocols are a one-time fee. Before wrapping, Greg says children are hurt most by water contaminants, and that medications people take end up in the water supply, naming birth control, antibiotics, painkillers and antidepressants, plus microplastics. Rye closes by saying alternative medicine may be what we need, Western medicine is great for broken bones and surgery, and everyone should stay vigilant about what they're fed and given as medicine.

It starts on a giant rock beside a loud canyon river, where his heartbeat kept skipping and stopping, and it leads through a dark corridor, a being of light he now believes was the Holy Spirit, a trip through stars he calls doors, a council that told him they'd been waiting for him, and a meeting with God that he describes as a cosmic river. Greg explains how he ended up in two places at once, lying on the rock and standing in heaven, and what happened when his highly religious brother came over to check on him and heard God's voice. From there the conversation moves to the research Greg says followed: what he says is in our drinking water, why he uses carbon distillation, the molecular hydrogen work that earned him the name hydrogen man, and the Essene Gospel of Peace, a book he says describes his experience almost exactly. Greg also finally gets an answer to a question he carried since his childhood prayers, "Where were you?", and shares where to find his protocols and videos.

In This Episode
•     Rye opens by asking Greg to walk through his near-death experience. Greg explains it didn't start with the NDE itself. At 18 he had an overdose that was meant to end his life, and the ER doctor called it an absolute miracle that he survived. It left him with severe heart damage, and a cardiologist later told him his heart was weakened and he likely didn't have a ton of time. In the ER that night, Greg says he saw beings of light standing beside him, speaking in one voice and repeating "you'll never do it again." He didn't believe them then, and at almost 50 he says they turned out to be right.  
•     Years later, on a trip to a canyon with a few people, Greg wandered off alone and ended up lying on a giant rock beside a river so loud he couldn't have heard anyone yelling at him. He lay there for almost four hours, getting so quiet in his mind that he could hear his own heartbeat. Because of his heart condition, it skipped, paused and sometimes flatlined, and each time it stopped, Greg says he felt himself drifting somewhere deeper. He let it happen.  
•     The dark corridor from his earlier overdose opened again. Greg compares it to walking through the valley of the shadow of death. There was no light ahead, only a pull like drifting down a river, and a presence that wanted him afraid. Greg says it knew everything about him, every fear and which strings to pull. It started with distractions and temptations, then escalated to his worst fears, bugs crawling over his body and into his nose and ears. Greg says the other side runs on emotion, so he stayed calm, let it all happen, and watched his body decompose into the earth before everything went black for ten or twenty seconds.  
•     Then came a burst of white light and a being Greg describes as female, though he says there's no sex on the other side. He now believes it was the Holy Spirit. He felt everything she felt, he says, and everything inside him was exposed, like being naked in his emotions. The first thing he blurted out was "I want to be like you." She answered, "You are me and I am you." Greg argued, calling himself trash and her perfect, but says she didn't need to respond. She held him like a cosmic mother, and he says he felt a healing he'd never known. A Bible scholar friend later pointed out that scripture refers to the Holy Spirit in female terms, which Greg ties to the white dove at Jesus's baptism.  
•     As she led him out into the heavens, Greg felt a tether at his belly button, tied to his body and to every attachment in his life. He says it looked like a spiral, like DNA or a rope, and that love and fear were bound together in it. A choice came over him: go back or go with her. His emotions said go back to the people he loved, but a flash of logic reminded him he'd wanted out for a long time. He says deciding to let go felt like jumping off a cliff, and that he thinks this is the point where people can be tricked through love. Rye connects this to Colossians 3, which he'd read at a men's Bible study the night before.  
•     Once he let go, Greg says the being took him to a star, and the stars turned out to be doorways. They traveled at what he calls borderline violent speed, hopping from star to star while he merged with her at each turn. He ties this to a Psalms verse about the sun as a bridal chamber, which his Bible scholar friend had never noticed before. Years later Greg found the Essene Gospel of Peace, a book said to be translated from ancient writings by a Vatican archives translator, and says it describes stars as vaults that need the spirit to open them, matching what he saw. He admits plenty of people criticize the book and says he's a skeptic himself, but that nothing else he's found described his experience so accurately.  
•     The journey ended at a gathering of beings that felt like a council, and oddly, like a dinner. They spoke in one voice and the first thing they said was "We've been waiting for you." Information about his life came flooding in, including who he was before he was conceived and the promises he made before birth. They showed him the womb, where he felt warmth, no hunger, no pain and a peace he'd forgotten. Greg explains why we don't remember it, because the body and brain aren't developed yet, and shares his own opinion that the spirit enters at the first breath. Peace is now his favorite emotion, and he believes the entity in the dark corridor was trying to rob him of it because fear is how you get controlled.  
•     The council made sounds that blended in the center of their circle and opened what Greg could only call a door. The beings told him it was being opened for him, and he walked through to meet God. Greg describes a being too large for an ocean to compare to, moving like a river and like wind, with the energy of the law is the law, and a voice like the sound of many waters. He believes the beginning was sound more than word. He walked into God like a baptism, leaned back, and says information poured through him, every bit of it an answer. God told him, "There are no questions here, only answers," and Greg lay there for an hour or more.  
•     This is the moment Greg is in two places at once. He started to open his eyes and slipped back into his body on the rock while still being in heaven, which felt like having two minds. The one on Earth was completely still, and he says he opened what he calls the eyes of light. He saw God as the light in everything alive, the canyon, the rocks, the trees, and realized heaven is right here. He came away convinced the human body is a temple that should be respected, and that his lifelong sadness came from feeling disconnected from God, not from a lack of money, cars or success.  
•     Greg got to ask the question he'd carried since he was a kid who prayed constantly and never got help: "Where were you?" He admits he was angry and thought God had better have a good answer. God showed him a vision of watching him pray as a child and told him, "I couldn't interfere, for if I had, you would have never found me." Greg says the pain of not having God created the burning desire and gravity that pulled him back, and compares it to the prodigal son. He never questioned God again.  
•     Greg's brother, who is highly religious, had been watching from far away and came over because Greg had been lying still for so long. Greg could hear God's voice and his brother couldn't. As his brother stood to leave, Greg's hand grabbed his wrist with what felt like infinite strength, the sound got louder, and his brother's vision went completely dark in full daylight. His brother tried to run and was told there was no place to run. Greg told him not to be afraid, and when he spoke, his brother's sight came back. Greg tilted his head back, the sound came out of him, and his brother realized it was coming from inside him. 
•  Greg explains that he named his channel Uprising 144K after the 144,000 beings of light in the Bible, and that he has spent over a decade sharing what he learned, largely about health. After more than 20 years in the medical field, he says his own heart condition was confirmed healed by his cardiologist without surgery. Greg stresses he isn't making medical claims and that he only shares what he personally uses. Everything starts, he says, with clean water.  
•     Greg shows a third-party lab report where forever chemicals (PFAS) read zero after carbon distillation, and says he learned the method by watching how creation cleans water: the sun lifts it, it leaves impurities behind, and it comes back as rain or snow. He says some water filter companies have faced lawsuits and some filters can make water worse, and mentions mypurewater.com with the code uprising144k. He then moves to molecular hydrogen, saying the Japanese found it in the waters of Lourdes, that more than 2,000 studies exist, and that he calls it the source of life. He covers Masaru Emoto's water memory work, a Japanese father who built a hydrogen device for his seriously ill daughter with help from companies like Toyota and Yamaha, and why oxygen oxidizes while hydrogen acts as a tiny antioxidant that can reach the mitochondria.
