Your Procrastination Is Costing Your Purpose: How to Stop Procrastinating in 5 Steps.
2026/10/13 | 27 mins.Send us Fan Mail
This week, Rikki Lee breaks down why you keep delaying your destiny and gives you five steps to finally get things done, whether you're a Type B girl who acts first, a Type A girl who thinks until the window closes, or That Girl in the middle who weighs the risk and trusts that her steps are ordered.
In this episode, you'll learn:
Why doubt is just a polite form of procrastination, and how to start believing your effort is purposeful
How to audit the pointless things you do every day, and what 30 minutes a day really adds up to over a year
Why perfection makes finishing impossible, and how to lower the requirements, get it done, then perfect it
How Type A and Type B girls each procrastinate differently, and how to borrow from the middle
The 10-Minute Risk Check: how to weigh the risk, trust God with the rest, and take one tiny step
Why telling someone and scheduling a celebration makes you actually finish
By the end, you'll have five steps for moving on the thing you've been avoiding, without waiting until you feel ready.
Your That Girl Assignment:
Name what you're avoiding, do your 10-minute risk check, and put a start time on your calendar.
Define what "done" means for one task and finish to that standard.
Tell one person what you're finishing, and schedule a reward.

If you are standing between where you are and where you know you are meant to be, this episode is for you. This week, Rikki Lee tells you what a life transition actually feels like, and how to walk through it with your identity, your routines, and your joy still intact.
You will hear why transitions are supposed to be uncomfortable, why you were never meant to be your own compass, and the five-step path Rikki Lee is using right now in the middle of her own season of change.

In this episode, you'll learn:
Why you have to grieve what's ending before you can move into what's next
How to separate your season from your identity, so a change in circumstances doesn't shake who you are
How to set a bare-maximum threshold that protects the basics when everything else is shifting
How to design your first 30 days in a new space, instead of just surviving them
Why scheduling joy is part of navigating a transition, not a distraction from it
By the end, you'll have a simple plan for moving through your own season of change with clarity and some peace.
Your That Girl Assignment: Write down what's ending, finish the sentence "I am ___" without using your job, city, or relationship, and pick your 2-3 non-negotiables for the next 30 days.

2026/10/02 | 28 mins.Send us Fan Mail
October 1st— not January 1st —is when your next year actually begins. While everyone else spends December scrambling to reinvent themselves overnight, you are going to spend the next 90 days designing her on purpose.
In this bonus Living by Design break, Rikki Lee gets practical on how October, November, and December are your winning quarter—a 90-day lab to test, edit, and install the systems that'll actually carry you into 2027, instead of showing up on New Year's Day guessing.
✨ Download the FREE Life Audit Guide here.
In this episode, you'll learn:
How to audit your life before adding anything
How to define what "winning" really means for you (hint: it's 3-5 outcomes you can control, not 40 things or a private jet)
How to reverse-engineer a quarterly goal into monthly, weekly, and daily actions that actually land on your calendar
Why you need a "bare maximum threshold" instead of a perfect routine and how to build one you can hit even on your laziest day
How to turn Q4 into a three-month beta test: October to try, November to edit, December to install
How to build your Winning Quarter Scorecard across body, money, work, life, and faith
Why the goal is to build a life you don't need a vacation from and NOT a life that's exhausting
Your That Girl Assignment: Complete your joy/pain/growth life audit, identify your three biggest Q4 outcomes, break each one down from quarter to month to week to day, choose three systems to experiment with before January, and put one thing on your calendar purely because it brings you joy.

Ever wonder if he's actually taking things slow, or just wasting your time? Or when a years-long friendship quietly stopped being one?
This is the first-ever Girl Talk—a new segment where I answer your real questions, straight from Instagram, unscripted and just little-big-sister energy on dating, friendship, and building a life you actually want to be in.
In this episode, you'll learn:
•How to tell if a guy is intentionally pacing things or just stalling you out
•The real difference between a friendship that's ending and one that's just resting
•Why depth matters more than how many years someone's been around
•What to actually do when someone tries to "spin the block" after showing you who they are
•How I stopped waiting for permission and started building my own vision instead
•Why your current season— however hard —isn't your identity
Your That Girl Assignment: Pick one relationship this week—a friend, a situationship, or yourself— where you've been operating on assumptions instead of clarity. Have the actual conversation.

Who is she? Lona Marie is a licensed addiction-recovery therapist and the founder of JoinHer Counseling and the nonprofit JoinHer Healing Haven, where she does restorative and preventative work with girls and women.
How did she become that girl? Lona built her career around a simple distinction: restorative care helps people heal after the fall, preventative care helps them never get there. She's applied the same philosophy at home, raising her daughters to trust themselves and take real risks—including funding and championing Rikki's earliest, shakiest attempts at building something of her own, long before "That Girl Radio" was a real thing.
What did she overcome? Motherhood cost Lona a version of herself she had to rebuild—she talks candidly about the moment her old identity "no longer existed" and she became a caretaker "not just by title, but an action word." She also had to learn where someone else's needs stopped and her own started, which is where her boundaries—the real, lived-in kind, not the buzzword—actually came from.
What does her blueprint look like? Trust yourself before you look for permission. Hold a boundary without over-explaining it. And when you're working hard and it still feels like you're fighting the current, take that as the sign—the assignment was never to work harder, it was to trust God.
