Episode 245 “Chelsea: February in Review”

    2026/02/25 | 57 mins.
Nick is joined by Daniel Childs (@SonOfChelsea) to look back at all things Chelsea’s in February.

February was a frustrating month for the blues. A league cup semi final exit to Arsenal sparked debate over the approach taken by Rosenior which we discuss.

In the League Chelsea dropped more points from winning positions & missed the chance to solidify their place in the top 5 ahead of a tricky run of games. We rue the same old issues cropping up.

We pick out who has impressed in February & also who has had a challenging time before we look ahead to the month of March.

Episode 244 “Chelsea: January in Review"

    2026/02/02 | 1h 31 mins.
Nick is joined by Tom Overend (@tovers98) to look back at an eventful January.

On New Year’s Day Enzo Maresca parted company with the club & we reflect on his time at the club as well as what his departure says about the higher ups running the club.

After Callum McFarlane oversaw a draw at Manchester City & loss at Fulham, the Liam Rosenior era started with a 5-1 win away at Charlton in the FA Cup. We assess the start Rosenior has made to life at Chelsea.

With a top 8 place in the UCL league phase secured & three league wins in a row there’s been positive progress made by Rosenior & we highlight the performances of players who have impressed, been ok & also struggled.

We wrap up by looking ahead to what February has in store. With a defecit to overturn in the league cup semi final second leg at Arsenal, a 4th round FA Cup tie at Hull City as well as three league games vs Wolves, Leeds & Burnley which will be vital in the race for Champions League football there’s no denying February is another huge month in the blues season.

Episode 243 ”Chelsea: December in Review”

    2025/12/31 | 1h 10 mins.
Nick is joined by Jam (@Carefree_Jam) from The Chelsea Social (@TheChelsSocial) to recap a difficult December for Chelsea.

With one win in six premier league games there’s no denying this was a disastrous month for Chelsea with a big fluctuation in performance from game to game & even half to half . Old problems also re-emerged with conceding goals from set pieces & long throws. We try to work out once again what this Chelsea are.

Enzo Maresca after the 2-0 Everton win said he’d had the “worst 48 hours” since arriving at the club, with these comments on top of comments made in the summer about wanting a centre back & stuttering form we ask is this the beginning of the end of Maresca?

With defeat at Atalanta in the champions league we assess what Chelsea need for a top 8 finish.

We reflect on who impressed, who has been ok & who has struggled in December before wrapping up by looking ahead to January.

Episode 242 “Chelsea: November in Review”

    2025/12/01 | 1h 18 mins.
Nick is joined by Daniel Childs (@SonOfChelsea) to look back at all things Chelsea’s in November.

In November Chelsea’s level of performance improved greatly, resulting in 10 points from 4 premier league games, all done without Cole Palmer. We break down those games & heap praise on the performances.

In the Champions League after a frustrating 2-2 draw at Qarabağ, Chelsea sent a statement to the rest of Europe with the 3-0 dismantling of Barcelona & we reflect on a wonderful night at Stamford Bridge.

We pick out who has impressed in November & also who has had a challenging time before we look ahead to the month of December.

Episode 241 “Chelsea: October in Review”

    2025/10/31 | 1h 26 mins.
Nick is joined by Jéssica Frota (@Je_Frota) to look back at all things Chelsea’s in October.

With inconsistent form & performances still an issue we start by asking the question how good actually are Chelsea?

We discuss the good & bad of Maresca. We bemoan the continuous issue of ill discipline & how poor Chelsea have been at dealing with teams going direct, long throws & set pieces in general.

After that we assess the good performances of Estêvão, Josh Acheampong & Jamie Gittens as well as a few others who have showed glimpses.

We also discuss those who have struggled such as Toisin, Trevoh Chalobah, João Pedro & Filip Jörgensen.

We wrap up by looking ahead to what lies ahead for the blues in November.
