Introducing Smaki 08's first mix of the year

This Valentine’s Day, Smaki 08 sets the tone with a carefully curated Amapiano mix made for late nights, slow moments, and real connection.

No releases. No familiar drops. Just exclusive, unreleased music crafted to move gently, groove deeply, and sit in that space between romance and rhythm.

This mix is about feeling — warm basslines, intimate melodies, and piano textures designed for lovers, thinkers, and anyone spending the night with intention. Whether you’re sharing the moment with someone special or enjoying your own company, this is music meant to stay close.

Recorded exclusively for Valentine’s Day.

Unreleased sounds only.

For hearts that move in tempo.

Press play. Let it linger.

Step inside the world of Smaki 08, one of South Africa’s most distinctive Amapiano producers and sound architects. "Behind The Music" is where rhythm meets emotion — a space for exclusive production mixes, unreleased material, and behind-the-scenes sessions straight from Smaki’s studio as we prepare for the drop of Maphefo Album on the 28th November 2025

Each episode captures his evolving sound — from soulful, deep Amapiano textures to high-energy, groove-heavy sets that move dancefloors across the country. Expect unreleased projects, producer breakdowns, and collaborations with some of the most forward-thinking artists in the scene.
