August 1st: Jens Soring Born (Derek and Nancy Haysom) (1966)

When two people are potentially involved in a crime, there tends to be a lot of he said/she said. On August 1st 1966 one half of a potentially killer duo was born. The half that loudly claims his innocence and says he had nothing to do with the double murder that landed him in prison.

July 31st: Jan Broberg Born (1962)

When you welcome people into your lives, and the lives of your children, you are extending them the courtesy of trust and respect. Something you hope they’ve earned and you don’t live to regret. On July 31st 1962 a young girl was born whose life would forever be changed by the existence of a family friend.

July 30th: Erica Parsons Reported Missing (2013)

Adoption can, oftentimes, offer a child a better life. Or, at least, that’s the hope. On July 30th 2013 a young girl was reported missing. One whose life was made infinitely worse by the couple who adopted her.

July 29th: Jessica Currin Goes Out(2000)

Some cases are so badly handled there doesn’t seem to be a way to fix them no matter how hard some people try. On July 29th 2000 a young woman went out for the night and never came back. A case that, from the very beginning, was mishandled by local police and, because of that, has seen mistake upon mistake throughout the years.
