Recorded in the heart of the DRC where days are long and nights are uncertain and sometimes the silence is louder than the PKM or a 12.7 machine gun - I've seen things i'll never forget. Some days were heavy, some nights were heavier, Through it all music was my lifeline. When i missed home, when i couldn't sleep, the pain, the brotherhood, the longing , the hope and the memories and the quite strength that got me through. As we prepare to go home, this is my farewell to a place that changed me.
