In the late 2000's torture horror movies had become the fad. SAW and Hostel led the way and everyone else tried to imitate and ride their success. The Collector is one of these films but for some reason has stood the test of time and is still loved and held in super high regard. The plot follows a thief called Arkin as he attempts to rob his employers. Unfortunately for him he chose the night the serial killer in a gimp mask decided to kill the family too...What follows is a cat and mouse game full of traps that would make Kevin McCallister jealous! In this episode we share out thoughts on The Collector, discuss some production facts and dissect what we think didn't make a whole lot of sense. Bring Her Back (2025)
Following the surprise hit Talk To Me the Philippou Brothers return with their latest and most terrifying horror flick. This film takes a very different tone to their first outing opting for a darker much more emotional narrative that honestly cerates a huge amount of tension and anxiety while watching. We follow Piper and Andy as they find them selves living with a suburban necromancer foster mum after the death of their father and as you would expect things go sideways quickly. As always this is a super balance review as me and Marc were unable to find common ground on this, we also have your views thrown into the mix for good measure.
