Today I’m joined by Rhonda Wax, a pastor’s wife, mother of four, grandmother of fourteen, and a lifelong homemaker whose heart for hospitality shines through every season of her story.
Rhonda shares about building a warm and welcoming home, learning to loosen the grip of perfectionism, and finding worship even in the ordinary tasks of the day. We also talk about Sabbath rhythms, a creative and brilliant way to teach children stewardship, and the beautiful legacy she is leaving through prayer-filled Bibles for her grandchildren.
This is a conversation full of wisdom, practical encouragement, and a gentle reminder that homemaking is not about creating a perfect picture, but about making a safe and loving place where people can be known, nourished, and pointed to Christ.

Today I want to share one final preview article from our first issue of Homemaker’s Journal. 
So often we think of celebration as our idea—something we plan when life goes well. But in Scripture, celebration begins with God. 
In today’s episode, Amber Davis will show us that the Father’s heart isn’t distant or disinterested—He’s a welcoming God who sets the table of celebration, calls His children in close, and says, "Come and partake."

I have another preview article from our first issue of Homemaker’s Journal today. Birthdays and celebrations aren’t always joyous. Some of the hardest holidays and special days to navigate are those that come in the midst of loss. Homemaker, Amber Reesor, shares how embracing the memory of her father’s favorite birthday cake provided a sweet path forward in her grief of losing him sooner than she expected.
