Send me a one-way text about this episode! I'll give you a shout out or answer your question on a future episode.I am chatting with in-the-trenches homemaker, Cara Semler, about her experience of keeping a home for the last 10 years with husband, Ross. Cara was deeply influenced by the beautiful, calm home her mother kept and wanted that for her own home; she just didn’t realize how much discipline would be required on her part to follow in her mother’s homemaking footsteps. Cara also shares her struggle to trust the Lord with her desire to own a home and how she learned to embrace homemaking even as a renter. As usual we talk about Cara’s homemaking wins, fails, tips and recipes. AND…. I am pulling out some Historical Homemaking Hints for you…we haven’t done those in a while! I hope you enjoy them.
