S2 #1 Jeriel Quainoo
Our first guest of the new season is Jeriel Quainoo. Born in 2003, Jeriel is the former u18 European no1 and world no2 100m sprinter, who currently runs for u20 team GB.
During this episode, we discussed his athletics journey from schoolboy events at the Crystal Palace National Sport Centre to the European Championships. We also highlighted the importance of his connection with his coach and how it helps fuel his competitive fire.
Following on from this, Jeriel talked about the highlight of his career, the recent u20 European Championships where he broke his personal best 100m time, setting a blistering 10.26s as well as achieving a gold medal in the 4x100.
On top of this, we discussed the serious matter of the BLM movement and how he feels it has changed the landscape of equality within sport.

#5 - Millie Sanders & Ella Standring
Next up on the podcast are two of Manchester Thunder and England Netballs most exciting up and coming talents. Both Millie Sanders and Ella Standring are a part of Manchester Thunder first team squad and have represented England youth throughout various age groups on numerous occasions.
