A star professor of sociology just resigned from his prestigious position at Cambridge University following accusations of plagiarism and fraud. Naturally, some people are taking this in a *really weird and disgusting* direction, but those creeps are missing the point.We want to talk about imposter syndrome, the failures of academia, and the uniquely human tendency to fake it until we make it.
