She’s no stranger to the competitive world and known as the Desert Rose(@taye).  At only 5 foot 2 and having competed in over a 165 off road races,  her latest and biggest achievement,  a 77th overall position in the Dakar rally is not to be frowned upon. Set to become the first women from Africa to finish the Dakar,  saw her lose out on this title due to mechanical problems. “I was planning to return to the Dakar on a motorcycle, but Covid-19 and all of its economic ramifications put paid to that.
