Josh McPherson

Is Washington State at a turning point? Pastor Josh McPherson and Adam James unpack the stakes of the 2026 midterm elections, what Adam learned running for political office, and why they believe Christians can no longer afford to sit on the sidelines. From parental rights and taxes to judicial and congressional races, they discuss the battles shaping Washington's future and the responsibility of the Church to lead with courage, conviction, and biblical clarity.

What should Christians really believe about Israel? Is the Church the fulfillment of Israel? And how should believers respond to the growing political controversy and conspiracies surrounding the Jewish people? In the final installment of their three-part conversation, Pastor Josh McPherson and Tim Barton tackle the biblical, historical, and political questions surrounding Israel. From Romans 11 and replacement theology to America's relationship with Israel and the rise of antisemitism, they challenge popular narratives with an ounce of research,  and they ask what it truly means to think biblically about Israel.
This is Part 3 of 3 with Tim Barton. Make sure to check out the other two episodes!

Should Christians stay out of politics—or does biblical faithfulness require engagement? Pastor Josh McPherson sits down with historian Tim Barton to discuss the stakes of the 2026 midterms, James Talarico and Ken Paxton in Texas, and why pastors cannot ignore addressing political issues. Christians must think biblically about policy, steward their vote faithfully, and raise up godly men and women who see political leadership not merely as politics, but as public service.

What did America’s Founders actually believe about religion, government, Islam, and the separation of church and state? Pastor Josh McPherson sits down with historian Tim Barton to examine the Barbary Wars, religious liberty, Jefferson’s “wall of separation,” the Christian ideas behind America’s founding documents, the truth about the “Jefferson Bible,” and Alexander Hamilton’s remarkable profession of faith near the end of his life... that didn't make it into the Hamilton musical.

The most important contribution you make to the world may not be what you accomplish—it may be who you raise. In this conversation, Scott Donnell and Pastor Josh McPherson explore what separates families that fade after a generation or two from families that continue growing stronger. They talk about heritage versus inheritance, preparing children for marriage, teaching kids to create value, and doing the difficult work of parenting early so that your relationship with your children can deepen as they grow. If you want to leave behind more than money and build a legacy your children and grandchildren can actually carry forward, this episode is for you.
