Oh this one is foul. Your boyfriend doesn’t just break up with you, he slowly slides into nightly “walks” with your childhood best friend who lives across the street. Across. The. Street. That’s not subtle. That’s a betrayal with a neighborhood watch program.

In today’s story, OP moves in with her boyfriend George into a house owned by her parents and gets excited to reconnect with her childhood best friend Sara nearby. After Sara breaks her leg, their casual group walks turn into George and Sara spending an hour alone together every night, while George grows distant and suddenly ends the relationship with the classic “I need to work on myself.” Even during OP’s surgery and recovery, the two of them are acting chummy, and once Sara breaks up with her boyfriend, she asks OP if she’d be okay with her dating George. Imagine correcting a coworker once, politely, for five seconds, and suddenly you’re the workplace villain in her personal soap opera. And then she keeps running her mouth… right up until her mistakes go from annoying to career-ending. Oops.

In today’s reaction, a guy works downstream from a newer coworker, so when she forgets something, his work gets blocked. He could quietly fix her mistakes himself, but instead he tries to help her learn by pointing out what she missed. She responds by talking trash behind his back, then starts claiming he’s “harassing” her, and the drama spreads through the office. The issue reaches the client, the boss has to step in, and when the blame lands where it belongs, she gets fired.
