It Came From the '70s! - SATAN'S SCHOOL FOR GIRLS (1973)

    2026/07/24 | 1h 16 mins.
Welcome aboard Polyester Airlines for another trip back in time to the decade when Sonny and Cher were our King and Queen.
Even though summer just started, your captain, Patrick Walsh, is taking you back to school because your final destination is September 9, 1973; the night SATAN'S SCHOOL FOR GIRLS premiered as the ABC Wednesday Night Movie!
A young woman goes undercover at an exclusive all-girls fine arts academy to investigate her sister's mysterious death and finds herself entangled in a secret devil cult's unholy schemes.
SATAN'S SCHOOL FOR GIRLS is currently available to watch for free here on YouTube. (It's listed incorrectly as "Salem School For Girls," but it's the right movie and the best quality copy on the platform.)
Directed by David Lowell Rich, written by Arthur A. Ross and starring Pamela Franklin, Kate Jackson, Roy Thinnes, Lloyd Bochner, Cheryl Ladd, Jo Van Fleet and Jamie Smith-Jackson.

Damn You, Uncle Lewis - "Vanity's Mirror"

    2026/07/17 | 1h 30 mins.
Note: We skipped ahead a few shows for this episode, because of REASONS. We'll return to the regular schedule and cover "Shadow Boxer" next month.
The "We Hate Uncle Lewis Club" is back in session for another deep dive into FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE SERIES as we discuss Season One Episode Seven: "Vanity's Mirror".
In Vanity's Mirror, a compact that carries a deadly love curse falls into the hands of a tormented high school girl who uses it to lure her bullies to their grisly deaths.
This is the episode that really put Friday the 13th on the map, because of its tight script, vicious kills, and a gleefully demented villain...plus one ostentatious fez!
    You can expect:
    Compacter Smooshes!
    Table Saw Headaches!
    Baby Zach Ward!
    Dirty Feet!
    Lettuce Sandwiches!
    Colonial Williamsburg Hair!
Insight, wisdom and sass talk from Patrick, Maya & Trae.

Sadly, all Friday the 13th: The Series episodes have been removed from every platform I searched, so "Vanity's Mirror" is not currently available to stream.
Please consider picking up the DVD box set with the black-and-white skull cover. You can find them preowned on eBay for $25-30.

    SQ Classics - TIME AFTER TIME (1979) - August 4, 2012

Better say your prayers, because another classic ScreamQueenz episode has escaped from The Asylum and is running amok in the streets!
This time it's Episode 63 from August 4, 2012, in which Alena Acker drops by to talk about one of my all-time favorite movies, TIME AFTER TIME from 1979.
In this delightful sci-fi fantasy thriller, H.G. Lewis must travel through time to 1970s San Francisco to hunt down Jack the Ripper and stop his modern-day killing spree before the woman of his dreams becomes the next victim.
TIME AFTER TIME is not currently available on any streaming services, but is available wherever you buy or rent videos.
Directed by Nicholas Meyer, written by Karl Alexander, Steve Hayes and Nicholas Meyer, and starring Malcolm McDowell, Mary Steenbergen and David Warner.

Welcome aboard Polyester Airlines for another trip back in time to the decade that gave us Horeshack, ABBA and Whatchamacallits for SHE'S DRESSED TO KILL starring Connie Sellecca, Jessica Walter and John Rubenstein was the NBC Monday Night Movie.
Your captain, Patrick Walsh, is waiting to whisk you away to the night of December 10, 1979 for this spine-tingling whodunnit about glamorous models at a mountaintop fashion show who are getting murdered one by one...with their own makeup!!!
    Was it the Whiskey-Guzzling Designer?
    Or her Draft-Dodging Assistant?
    Or the Queeny Critic?
Or The Ugliest Girl in the World?

It's like Agatha Christie did a boatload of blow, and you're gonna love it.
Your copilot on this ill-advised voyage into flimsy negligées, leg of mutton sleeves and deadly hairspray is the fabulous MARTIN MCKEON.

    2026/06/19 | 1h 24 mins.
The "We Hate Uncle Lewis Club" is back in session for another deep dive into FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE SERIES as we discuss Season One Episode Seven: "Doctor Jack".
In "Doctor Jack", the crew discovers that an internationally renowned surgeon (played by Cliff Gorman, "The Boys in the Band") is using a scalpel that once belonged to Jack the Ripper. While he may never lose a patient, he's leaving a trail of slashed corpses behind wherever he goes, and it looks like Jack might be his next victim.
    You can expect:
    Horrible Hospital Administration!
    Chekhov's Gun Lady!
    Skippy the Skater!
    Truly ENORMOUS Micki Hair!
    Hideous Ryan Sweaters!
    The Birth of Lucy Bender!
Caustic Commentary from Patrick, Maya and Trae!

YouTube has purged almost every episode of Friday the 13th: The Series from the platform, but you can still watch Doctor Jack here on Dailymotion.
You might also consider purchasing the DVD box set (currently $27 at Walmart).
