Have you ever felt judged, misunderstood, rejected, or completely alone in your pain? Have you ever cried so deeply that you had no words left to pray? Or found yourself wondering why God was taking so long to answer the desires of your heart?
In this episode, Lauren walks through the raw and deeply relatable story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1. Together, we talk honestly about jealousy and cattiness between women, the deep wounds caused by friends, infertility, grief, unanswered prayers, and the anguish of waiting for God to move.
Lauren also shares her personal journey through two miscarriages and three years of infertility before welcoming her daughter, Joy. Through Hannah’s story, we are reminded that we can pour out every part of our hearts before God. He is close to the brokenhearted, present in our pain, and faithful even when our miracle does not happen immediately.
Your pain does not mean God has forgotten you. Your waiting season is not wasted. Keep showing up, keep praying, and keep trusting Him through the “after some time.”
